That looked delicious! 🥧 Just a little tip. I freeze my butter and then grate it, then freeze it again in a metal mixing bowl. It's so much easier to get it incorporated into the flour and there is less of a chance that you'll warm it up. I always get a nice flaky crust. ❤ Edit: Fall is my favorite. It's perfect here in North Carolina.🧡🍂🍁🌻

Looks delicious! You cook from scratch like my Moma use too. I am going to watch you again and cook this sometime Lord willing. I cheat. I do my potatoes and mixed vegetables and chicken add in cream of chicken soup and canned biscuits…..some how mine seems like a counterfeit.🤣😂🤣 I hope your family realizes what a true jewel you are. I hope you all get your sheet rock up soon. Girl, you deserve an awesome kitchen and you need your kitchen tools. Hope you have everything insulated before it gets cold. Thanks for sharing.

Valerie HI! Those bits your cutting off the chicken should go into making chicken broth! That would save you money and be healthier than store bought. You can even do it in the instant pot with onion scraps and carrot peels. Looking forward to more home repair videos ❤

Another little tip I use sometimes is for the crust I take a can or two of grands biscuits,depending on the amount I need to make, and cut each biscuit into 4 pieces and place them over the top of my mixture to bake in the oven ❤

We bought half a cow this year. After the cost of someone raising the cow, butchering costs and packaging, we definitely saved money. We know where the cow came from, what food it ate, no hormones, and freshness. We also got to pick the cuts we wanted, including steaks, stew meat, ground beef, etc. When we average everything out - though the initial expensive was substantial - our overall cost was WAY below what we would have paid in the store. Your recipe looks delicious - maybe after you get your home situation, you could start sharing more recipes - maybe even a book? I'm not a natural cook, as it seems you are, and good, solid recipes as SO helpful! God bless you and your sweet family (that includes your furry family, as well)!

I need to make my pot pie-very much same recipe as yours but I don’t make homemade crust! Glad you posted a video. Gets me motivated to cook more. Your last video I would have had a pity party and cried that I had to clean up those bedrooms by myself-which would do no good! You just charge through everything and in that boot! I admire you. The chicken pot pie looked delicious! As sometimes happens, I see it bubbled over onto the cookie sheet. A hack I started using is to line the cookie sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil. It makes clean up a lot easier! (I prefer parchment paper as sometimes the aluminum foil sticks to the baking dish)

Hands down Autumn is my favorite season I love the crisp chill in the air, the smells just everything about it for me!!! YUM chicken pot pie i have got to try this one looks delicious. My Mom used to make the best chicken pot pie, her homemade crust was so flakey. Going to see if one of my Sisters has her crust recipe even though I know I won't do it justice. It's so funny when you were deciding where to put the bow at the mail boxes I was like no up by the light and that is right where you went lol. We have similar decorating taste ;-) Quick question did you say in a video that you used to be a Nurse? I feel like you did but I have been wanting to ask you.

pie looked very tasty ,with my bits left over dough i make like leaf's and put them in the centre with a bit egg wash just to hold them on ,looks nice on it :) ,i bet you cant wait to get your island done in the kitchen , but the wobbley table will do for now :) blessings to you all

A small suggestion if I may: I use to cook for my dogs any chicken part that I do not use for our cooking, like the small parts you through away. I prepare for my dogs chicken rise or pasta, I add vegetables, without any seasoning, and they love this food so much. Great recipes! God bless you!❤❤

I also cook for my schnauzer Jack, chicken breasts shredded and freeze in small containers, and take one and microwave, for his lunch with sweet potato and Vegas, but when cleaning the chicken I cut any fat, blood or pieces of bone, from the chicken, before cooking

Fall is my favorite Season too. Your spirit is contagious! You remind me of my Aunt who legally adopted me and my twin. We learned so much from her - cooking, laundry, and surviving! You're an awesome Moma, Wife, and Furball mom to your family! We are having chicken pot pies tonight for supper in the NC foothills! It's 80 today and by Wednesday the high will only be 48. Fall is also my favorite time of year. I love the colors and the cooler weather plus low humidity. I also wash my chicken for the same reason you do. I always felt better rinsing it before cooking. Im6a widow and have been eating meatless meals because of the high cost of meat. Til your next video. 😊💕

I will try to make it like this next time! I cheat and use veg all ( big can) cream of chicken soup, sour cream and milk. And put a bottom crust from pioneer baking mix. It's good but wanna try your way👍
