Quaint little area from what you filmed. The schnitzel looks nice, definitely would buy it. Schnitzel sandwich for Ron or a roll with gravy. I think I’d thicken the gravy Ron when I got home. The shop looked clean and noticed they even sold a real old school Aussie dinner. Sausages, peas and mashed potato and gravy. Would definitely buy from there often
$2 for runny gravy is a bit stiff, but the combo with meat and chips is such an Aussie classic. One of the best I’ve had was Chicken Chef in South Australia - came with chips, peas, carrots and gravy, and always had enough to feed two. Used to have a local place that also offered roast lamb/beef/pork options - was gutted when they closed down.
My local chip shop does too thick of a gravy and it's like custard which I hate and also it's got a weird taste, I wish they had a pepper gravy coz it would be better having a 2nd choice.
Chicken Chef had the best hand made double cooked chips in Australia for 32 years. My last batch about 3 years ago was definitely the frozen chips 99% of takeaway places use. And I have not been back since.

I’ll be in K - town in July and making a list of where to eat Friday night , Saturday during the day and Sunday lunch. (Saturday night will at the Hydro) The micro brewery is on the list, the cocktail bar in the Carrington , the pie shop just down the road on the highway for Sunday lunch on the way home.

That gravy really didnt look right, it was like getting a stock cube and mixing it with water. Gravy should be thicker than that...otherwise great video.
Nothing worse than running gravox here 2 but sounds like the flavour made up for it… The old snitz’n fries is a cracking Aussie staple in the pubs but good to see a little locale getting involved especially being served sans salada

Overall looks good gravy a total thumbs down. Someone forgot to thicken the sauce. Drink looks good nice can. Otherwise great. maybe i take back about the gravy it would probably thicken up after. should bring yr own salt
