I CANT BELIVE MANY PEOPLE HERE WROTE SOME BAD COMENTS .I THING THIS IS A GOOD BAND THEY TRY TO GET LIKE IN THE BEGGINING THEY PLAY NOT 4 THE MONEY THEY PLAY MORE 4 FUN UNDERSTAND ????
I've now listened to the whole album and this is the best track. Why? Each superstar gets to bust it, but in such a way that it works together. Listen to it four times and concentrate on the players and you'll hear it - Chad drumming the cymbals, Joe blending in and then coming forth, Michael driving the beat (and he is showcasing his marvelous skills - way underrated) and the Red Rocker happily playing with the lyrics. A hook and makes you want to get up and move - or drive way over 55.
I love this band and I love the folks in it but please produce some new material. Time waits for no one and we are all getting older. PLEASE please please new music and extensive tour
i agree with those of you who think they sound a lot like VH (very obvious) but they sound fresh with satriani. not to say i have always liked eddie, always will!!
this is awesome that these guys are doin a little bit different musiic then the same old r&r. dont get me rong i am HUGE rock fan, but i am glad that my favorite rockstars are still able to do different genres like this. WHOOOOOOOO!
G3 is not a group, it's a concert. He founded at and it consist of him and 2 other guitarists each year, not always Vai and Pet. Paul Gilbert, Yngwie Malmsteen, Robert Fripp, and Eric Johnson are among the other names who've featured on the tour. Sometimes, though, one guitarist guitarist has come on tour multiple times, like Vai, Pet, and Fripp - if I remember correctly. Also, CHICKENFOOT!!!!
great to hear a band who loves to play music, with all the crap music around this is kinda refreshing even if very seventies. I am not complaining. Rock on !!
One thing I like about this group is their style is similar to Dave Grohl and the Foo Fighters. Melodies are differently but the style and intensity is on the same page.
a subjective question. for sheer rock stardom which is the better supergroup The Firm , jimmy page, Paul Rodgers, or Chicken foot??? not followers, not songs, but the talent itself..
+Dj Roxanne Chickenfoot because of Sammy Hagar and Satch. Jimmy's a good writer but a sloppy player. Satch is great at both, and Sammy does a wonderful job with vocals even in his 60's.
Just through player evolution, Chickenfoot is better. Page and Hendrix were good for their time but one could not honestly say either was better at anything music-related than Satriani or Vai. Or he’ll, even John Mayer is a superior blues player to Hendrix...
The classic question is what would Hendrix have done if he lived? Had a style all his own in his time. These other players may have had a different future.
I'm a huge fan of the Roth era but Dave is really stinking it up BAD on stage these days & getting horrible reviews, attendance is slipping to these shows & the tour is imploding. 30 cancelled dates? LOL! Same old same old with the mighty dysfunctional Van Halen...I'll be shocked if they reschedule those. Where have all the good shows gone? 78-84 R.I.P. Van Halen
