Yeah we were there last yr and stayed in cabin 13. We stayed 2 days and caught some nice bream .It was at the end of June and beautiful. If the water level gets right we will be back this yr .
Yes, we were warned about the slope-ee sites by a fellow camper before we got there. We were then a little concerned that our site was one, but we were good.
Enjoyed your video as always! I'm very leery of kayaking in water that has known alligators, so I haven't. Does it not bother you at all? Do you have a plan if you encounter one, especially kayaking alone?
I'm from Florida so I am used to kayaking in alligator waters. It has never bothered me. They usually just watch from their sunning spot or swim away. I've only had two encounters that were up close and personal. lol
