If you read the verses that follow, the people did 'turn their backs', they mocked their prophet and refused to enter due to fear of the people already living there. So the land was forbidden for them for 40 years. That was the situation for those people at that time. God will not give a land to a people forever just because of their race regardless of how corrupt they are? In the end, God will give the land to those who obey him and uphold his laws. Jews have no right to the land both religiously and historically.

‘Israel’ is the prophet Jacob. Moses fulfilled his mission which was to liberate the children of Israel. The modern day Palestinians are descendants of converted Jews and Christians. Where does it say in the Quran that the land is only for Jewish people who must be in control until the end of the world?

I am English (despite my name) and I do NOT stand with Israel or with Jews, first off: Why would I stand with a people that killed my teacher using the Romans as proxy? Why would I stand with Kazhars (not even Semites, not even jews but nomadic converts) who view the Semitic Palestinian people as vermin, as cattle, as flies to be swatted.
