As an American, I finally took the time to find out the question of why, why are the Palestinians so upset. We don’t ever see the other side. I’m finally starting to get the answers starting with this documentary. Thank you
??? This is a biased documentary. You might be getting answer, but you're not getting the whole answer. All this mess starts with the Arab-Islamic invasion of Palestine, where they stole Palestine form teh Jews and Christians. Knowing this, one can understand why the Jews were driven out of thier homeland of Palestine and left stateless, and why the Jews had to suffer so much discrimination and genocides that they decided to return to Israel-Palestine and settle/liberate Palestine from the Islamic invaders once and for all. If documentaries don't tell you about the arab-Islamic colonization and oppression of Palestine that started all this, you know it's going to be a propaganda or biased video against the Jewish right of return.

when that was written in the constitution that was written by slave owning white men and it did not consider women who weren't even allowed to vote until the 19th amendment in 1920 as a muslim myself I disagree with the U.S. constitution because Islam guaranteed equal rights for women and minorities and even non muslims just look at Spain before the conquistadors took over the only tax they had to pay was 2.5% the jizya tax and they didn't even have to serve in the military so I would take Islamic law before man made laws because clearly man made laws don't work.

This is a documentary about a few lunatics that are randomly doing their own thing. Also, the documentary leaves out all the displacement of the native Jews from Iran, Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Egyp, and Yemen, who lived there for millennia and centuries and were kicked out by Islamic extremists, a lot of them came to settle in their homeland, is a very complex history and this documentary leaves all out by playing demon. Videos like this are important to understand the conflict. While Hamas is an evil organization, people should realize Israeli government is not innocent either. If you want to go deeper into the history of this conflict, you will see that Hamas in its early days was actually funded by Israeli government. Israeli leaders back then were against the idea of a democratic Palestinian government because they needed evil Palestinians narrative. So when Hamas was founded, Israeli government thought it was a good idea to arm Hamas to topple the democratic Palestinian government. Ex Israeli PM confessed to this as well, you could find it on RU-vid if you search for it. Also, current Israeli PM Netanyahu was the one who kept pushing USA to invade Iraq, the intel report about "weapons of mass destruction" in Iraq came from Mossad. Not sure if you seen Netanyahu's recent visit to US senate but he is trying very hard to get USA to attack Iran now. Saying Iranians are behind the USA college protests against Israel and how Iran is preparing to attack USA. More wars, more suffering, more immigration, more hate towards immigrants, bigger internal conflicts in western countries because of the immigrants. This is all win-win scenario for Israeli government. Note: I'm only talking negative about Israeli government, not its people. Which is why I mentioned the government every single time.

The prophet Moses saved the Israelites, who had been subjected to humiliating treatment for hundreds of years in Egypt, from the hegemony of the Pharaoh, liberated them, took them to their homeland, and conveyed the Torah to them. However, as stated in both the Quran and the Bible, they often broke their covenant with Allah and committed sins, and therefore were subjected to divine punishment (for detailed information on this subject and explanations in the Bible, see .Baqara 2/74, 100-101). What is meant by "corruption" in the verse is that the Israelites generally violated the provisions set by Allah in the Torah. In the commentaries, one of the two mischiefs is killing the prophet Isaiah or imprisoning Ermiya (Jeremiah); The second is explained as their killing of Yahya and their attempt to kill the Prophet Jesus by collaborating with the Roman rulers (Şevkânî, III, 327).

Looks to me like the ‘outposters’ and the evangelical Christian Zionists will be a major problem, as who is going to control the ‘hate’ and ‘elitists’ feelings of both groups? In the commentaries, one of the two mischiefs is killing the prophet Isaiah or imprisoning Ermiya (Jeremiah); The second is explained as their killing of John and their attempt to kill the Prophet Jesus by collaborating with the Roman rulers (Şevkânî, III, 327).
@ginolitvak1791 you do not have any voice man, your brutalities are so evident. Palestinians welcomed you and provided you shelter when you were oppressed in Europe and now you are committing and killing innocent Palestinian children. how cruel you people are

Great documentary. Quite eye-opening to see how the troubles started and have been escalating ever since. I needed to see this. Great mapping in the beginning, the best I've seen.
Great documentary! I’ve read in many comments “Jews have a right to return to their homeland, it’s their home”. 1) Zionism is a secular movement. Its founder Theodor Herz would have been happy with Argentina too. Zionists in Hitler’s Germany were quite happy with Madagascar too. Zionism has become increasingly religious over the last decades. Because religion doesn’t need explanation and has always been a good cover-up for atrocities from the Crusades to the Spanish genocide of pre-columbian peoples, from the great inquisition to the Yugoslavian conflict. 2) according to ultra-orthodox Judaism Jews people will be given their kingdom when the Messiah comes. Apparently not a material one. “Forcing the Messiah” to come earlier by occupying Palestine is seen as an offence to God, as a blasphemy. 3) The majority of the Jews doesn’t live and does not intend to live is Israel. Demography and expansion that is outnumbering the Arabs and taking their land, this is the real credo of Zionism. Nothing to do with the romantic “our ancestral homeland”.
Similar to the settlers that were given land taken from the American Indians, and now many are living on Reservations. 😢 I don't think any Country is guilt free of this type of thing.
You're right. But it wouldn't be so difficult for America to reverse course, try to rehabilitate indigenous communities, and simply stop funding israel or fund it only with conditions. that would help
I think of it that the state of Israel isn't any worse than anywhere else, the disappointing thing is that as a 'new', 'modern' 'democracy', it's no better.
@@TonyShephard-w4mit is worse though. Where else on earth is it legal to murder? Where else does a government hand out weapons to civilians so they can shoot whoever they like almost as a sport? It's a twisted, sadistic place, is what has become evident to the world since October.
No you are conflating settlements in occupied territory with the state of Israel. The League of Nations (precursor to UN) passed 33 votes to create Israel by division of the British Mandate of Palestine. The states of Syria, Iraq, Transjordan and Lebanon likewise created from the break up of the Ottoman Empire. By your logic, we should delegitimise all of those created Arab states too. Israel has every right to exist within its 1967 borders. Palestine rejected every offer of its own statehood since the establishment of Israel in 1948. Israel then took in 800,000 Jews banished in pogroms from surrounding Arab states, including Yemen, without requesting to increase its borders.
@@ritamanessis146 then as I already stated, if you refuse to apply the same standard to the likewise created Arab states- Iraq, Syria, Lebanon and Jordan and their rights to exist, that would reveal you apply a double standard. There is a name for people with this particular double standard and although we hoped this would end with the destruction of the Nazis in 1945, but unfortunately your kind are ever numerous. Israel is a state with 20% of its citizens (not to be confused with settlements outside of its sovereignty) being Arabs who enjoy equal rights under the law, high status professions and seats on the Supreme Court. Arab Israelis recently polled ranked their quality of life as high and were happy to be Israeli and disgusted by the barbarism of Hamas - there were Bedouin who bravely fought against the terrorists’ invasion. That doesn’t sound much like an apartheid state to me.
@@alanargent5676It is apartheid. There are 61Israeli laws imposed on Palestinians who live in so-called Israel. You might not like to call it apartheid, but that:s exactly what it is - not my words, but numerous human rights organizations, including B'Tselem. Israel is an occupying force and you can rationalize and justify it all you like, and call all those who oppose it as anti-semites. But, you cannot justify one Holocaust with another.
@@SgtHawk13 I don't mean to excuse the Hamas and palestinians for supporting what they've done. I can see that palestinians also have legit grievances and that among jews there are bad actors too, like the guy who teaches his kids to beat up arabs. But at least his culture is not celebrating him and naming a school after him,for example but instead he goes to jail. I can imagine, there are others like him and they should face consequences. I feel sorry for all involved, who just want to live in peace- who are definitely not Hamas and it's followers. For me the whole thing is heartbreaking, because they live in that amazing place, surrounded with all the amazing culture and they can't deal with each other and it looks quite hopeless.
When thugs have been given power to rape a whole nation for self-determination. The delusion of geniunly believing that they could be the people of the light, while commiting all these clear crimes against humanity. is absolutely insane, how can a whole nation be THIS delisional.....
What an eye opening! thank you Best Documentary. That s always difficult to find a channel that tells the truth away from the narratives that the mainstream media tells
Don’t you find it? Interesting that the question, “Are you a settler?“ makes so many of them feel uncomfortable? They are right to feel uncomfortable. Disgusting.
This is truly horrific and a crime against humanity. These people think they are going to bring redemption to israel but will intstead lead it to destruction. It breaks me to think of the many decades the Palestinian people have had to live under the boot of these folks. It has to end now.
An extremely wrenching Deep dive into the heart of 'Settler's-mentality'. As represented by the single-minded dedication of its founding rabbi, who led his army of early illegal settlers by a fierce determination to battle not only resistant Arabs but also his own government whose laws he was violating... The kind of fierce determination and Will To Power whose only parallel I could think of in the example of the equally fierce Evangelisms of Christian Pastor Hagee or David koresh of the Branch-Davidians, both from Texas.

Present day "Palestinians" are in fact Arabs from Jordan and Egypt. The original inhabitants were Philistines (tribes from Crete who migrated to Levante after the Bronze Age collapse around 2,500 BC) were gone by the time of Jesus. The name Palestine was used by emperor Hadrian 100 years after Jesus as a slur against the Jews. The land was back then called Judaea, Samaria and Galilee. The Arabs came to Levante 600 year later from the Arabian Peninsula thousands of km away after Islam was created around 700AD. They were invaders and colonisers who displaced the indigenous people of Levante (among them the Jews and the original Christians, the Assyrian People). The Arabs didn't call themselves Palestinian until the 1960s after Arafat founded the PLO. So calling Palestine occupied is ignorant.

This is an amazing piece of work. What an insight. I've learnt so much yet as I watched I get sadder by the minute because how can peace between the two peoples be achieved when a people believe so deeply in the prophesies of a book of fiction? Thank you Shimon Dotan for making this. If I feel this way, I cannot imagine how you must feel while making this.
I don’t think it’s a book of fiction. But I believe Israelite never understood the prophecies. In fact they killed the prophets who warned them and denounced their violence and despised for the poor. Back in Deuteronomy Moses prophetically traced the who history of Israel with scary precision including the diaspora. Especially they don’t understand that z gods promises were conditional to their faith and obedience. It’s obvious that their stand in persecuting Christ and the whole Christian’s fledgling church says a lot about them. Yet there are sincere sounds there
As an Israeli myself I am not crazy about the whole idea of settlers These people who see themselves as religious patriots of the Jewish state often times provoke many problems between two nations by not respecting their neigbors of different religion Their main excuse is based on Old Testimony stories and believes, however we are people of 21 century and face a totally different reality where the Land is divided and expect us to respect each other
@@FOXELLA2000 sadly and much omitted is the fact that in the Old Testament God specifically instructs Israelites also to be kind to their neighbors to care for the orphan and all those who want to walk the higher life. It is true that some nations in ancient times degraded themselves so low that they became brutalized and perverted. But even within those there were people who knew Israelite life was upright and that were catptivsted by their lifestyle and wanted those higher principles for their lives. An example of this is the prostitute of Jericho. Even though Jericho came to ruins, because of their debased and degrading type of religion that they had with sacrificing children on the fire and total immortal lifestyle were destroyed. The prostitute aimed for something better and hid the spies from Israel, and when the city fell, she was spared multiple are the passages where in the Old Testament God saysto love the neighbor to be kind to them into the stranger. I don’t think people got what God was trying to do in the world.
@@wiltonpt1 you are wrong, my friend. When Jews were liberated from egiptian slavery and came back to Khanaan, God ordered to free this land from other tribes and nations because it meant to the Land of Jacob's descendents only Nevertheless, we should stop citing Torah and faxe the reality
@@FOXELLA2000 oh I do not deny God wanted them to dispossess and the land. What I am saying is that this is often read superficially. The whole intent of God is what people reading the Torah miss often. It was a missionary project. For instance Jebusites. They fooled the people of Israel saying they were from a far country. Israel beloved it and swore to not war against them. But everything came out later. However even though they used deception Israel was true to their word. Jebusites ended up leaving their detestestable idolatry ( a lot of sexual perversion mixed in the religion of Khananites) and started praying to the true real God Elohim creator of all. Interestingly, when Midianites wanted to destroy the Jebusites Israel interposed and defended them. But I believe like you. Those times under prophets and miraculous divine manifestations or a “theocracy” are not our situation today. And the Ben Gurion Israel is not the one from the Bible either. Reality has to be read the way it is today.
Very interesting documentary that enables us to dive into the world of these jewish settlers and get the temperature of at least a good part of Israeli present day society. One thing is sure: i certainly wouldn't like to have such people as neighbors. One can dramatically realize through their example how powerful and dangerous religious ideologies can be when people get so blindly endoctrinated into them and give up thinking for themselves that they lose even the most basic sense of humanity and justice and actually start to take evil deeds for good ones. I'm certainly not antisemite no more than i am anti-any other people on this planet but after witnessing the shocking, cold and brutal massacre of so many innocent people in the Gaza strip these last months and discovering the no less shocking and brutal settlement and occupation of the West bank by Israeli citizens and army that has been going on there for decades now, i really have to say SHAME ON ISRAËL for perpretrating this insane, inhumane and even criminal enterprise
I’ve lost all hope in humanity with the complicity of the West ! It really took an African nation to send their lawyers in a bid to stop the madness and even then l still hold little to no hope for the future , their impunity is all across the board and enabled
The documentary, testimonial and historical value presented in this video is priceless. I only hope that one day justice will be done with the Palestinian people and with the ethnic cleansing to which they have been subjected since 1948, 75 years ago... While Israel commits genocide against Palestine, it has the tireless support of the USA, vetoing all resolutions in the UN security council, being the maximum facilitator so that this injustice can be carried out. Thank you for this great work, very brave ❤👏👏👏
True, look what happened to Jesus the Jews Messiah when He came the first time. He will be coming again just as He said. The return of the King of kings is drawing near. The first time He came as the Lamb of God. This time He will come as our warrior King. Then all evil will be vanquished, and there will be peace everlasting. All have sinned and fallen short of God's glory. Jesus is our Redeemer and the only way to Father God. In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The Word became flesh and dwelt among us. Jesus the Way, the Truth, and the Life. Thank you Father God that your words will not return void ❤ 🙏🏼

If tomorrow starts without me, and I'm not there to see, If the sun should rise and find your eyes all filled with tears for me; I wish so much you wouldn't cry the way you did today, while thinking of the many things we didn't get to say. I know how much you care for me, and how much I care for you, and each time that you think of me I know you'll miss me too; But when tomorrow starts without me, please try to understand, that an angel came and called my name and took me by the hand, and said my place was ready in heaven far above, and that I'd have to leave behind all those I dearly love. But as I turned to walk away, a tear fell from my eye, for all life, I'd always thought I didn't want to die. I had so much to live for and so much yet to do. it seemed almost impossible that I was leaving you. I thought of all the love we shared and all the fun we had. If I could relive yesterday, I thought, just for a while, I'd say goodbye and hug you and maybe see you smile. But then I fully realized that this could never be, for emptiness and memories would take the place of me. And when I thought of worldly things that I'd miss come tomorrow. I thought of you, and when I did, my heart was filled with sorrow. But when I walked through Heaven's gates, I felt so much at home. When God looked down and smiled at me, from His great golden throne, He said, "This is eternity and all I've promised you, Today your life on earth is past but here it starts anew. I promise no tomorrow, but today will always last. and since each day's the same, there's no longing for the past. But you have been so faithful, so trusting, so true. Though there were times you did some things you knew you shouldn't do. And you have been forgiven and now, at last, you're free. So won't you come and take my hand and share my life with me?" So if tomorrow starts without me, don't think we're far apart, for every time you think of me, please know I'm in your heart
How would we as Earthlings feel if a more advanced human civilization from another solar system invade us and say that this planet we call Earth belongs to them and send what remains of us as losers after a war with them to another habitable planet but have to start all over again?
Not a good analogy. Jewish people did not invade Palestine. If Europeans down the centuries had not orchestrated pogroms and genocide against Jewish communities then they wouldn't have had to flee to a safe settlement. Parts of land were sold to Jewish settlers by both Palestinians and non Palestinian land owners. There are voices amongst both the Jewish communities and Arab ones in the region that are drowned out by the extremists. My heart goes out to those murdered by Hamas on October 7th and the horrors now faced by an already marginalised Palestinian community.
@@carrauntoohil86You do realize that the fore fathers of today’s Palestinians hugged the fore fathers of those Jewish settlers as they disembarked from the boats fleeing the European pogroms and welcoming them back home. They had been living peacefully with Jews there for centuries and assumed that they would continue living there peacefully for centuries to come. What they are doing to them today as payback is totally unfair to anyone that has an ounce of conscience.
@@tomassankara5067 This has been a two-sided unfairness for both sides for decades. It is unfair that Palestinians Arabs lost homes and lands to Jewish settlers. At the same time the same number of Jews were driven out of majority Muslim Arab countries where they had lived for thousands of years. This simultaneous Jewish expulsion formed the larger number of these Jewish settlers who settled these Palestinian lands.
Since this documentary starts narrating history around 1948, then it should have mentioned the Nakba, which occurred in 1948 when 700,000 Palestinians were driven from their homes and land. It treats the Palestinian lands of the U.N. partition plan as if they were, at best, only sparsely settled by Palestinians, which is historically inaccurate.
@ginolitvak1791 It doesn't matter if 70 Arab armies attacked Israel; it is still a violation of international humanitarian law to attack 700,000 Palestinian civilians and drive them from their homes.
@LS-kl6bj The invasion by Arab armies was a response to the Nakba, when 750,000 Palestinians were violently driven from their homes by the Jews. The Jews like to forget about the Nakba and sweep it under the carpet. In fact, Jewish violagainst Palestinians started even before Israel was declared to be a state.
@ginolitvak1791the Arab Israeli war was in 1967. The nakba happened as soon as the zionists stepped foot onto Palestinian soil. You need to re-educate yourself
