In the early-mid 2000's the Pats had some historically great defenses, and when Tom Brady and Peyton Manning faced each other in the playoffs, Brady typically had Peyton's number. Fun fact though, the final 3 times Brady and Manning met in the playoffs, Manning won all 3 times. What changed? in the later years when they faced off, Peyton had a better team around him for a change. Brady left Peyton and everyone else in the dust as far as the GOAT debate, but when those 2 greats faced off, who typically prevailed? Whichever of them happened to have a better roster at the time. Mahomes has not only won this much this early, but had some of his hugest moments in situations where it was far from obvious that he had the superior roster.

Probably not after the biggest hit to the salary cap starts next year and the Bills have to shed key players. Like KC already did with Mahomes - and yet they keep finding ways to get to the AFC Championship (at a minimum). Six years, six AFCGs. That's the FLOOR. And that's simply absurd to think about. And two of those times, Mahomes lost in OT without the rule change Buffalo cried for.

Nah. Josh Allen has more total TD’s at this point in his career than Brady, Manning and Mahomes. Not his fault they lose. He plays great against KC but his team always screws up whether it’s the defense or his receivers keep dropping balls. He can’t do much else. Patrick’s guys seem to do better in these big games. KC didn’t drop any passes and their defense played a lot better than Buffalos defense did.

It wasn't shocking at all. I'm more shocked that Sherman can't get out of the way of his hate for Josh long enough to recognize a game plan. The Bills were decimated by injuries on D. So you keep Mahomes on the sideline by marching up and down the field. Chiefs have the number 3 ranked D and the Bills had 27 first downs. More than any other team has had on them by 4 or 5. The Bills also scored 3 redzone TD's. No other team has done that. But you could see how messed up the Bills were on D by the Kelce TD. And not wrapping up Pacheco. When healthy they're the 9th ranked D. They lost Bernard during last weeks game. He makes all the defensive play calls and is the Bills leading tackler. So instead they have practice squad very AJ Klein and 3rd rd pk Williams who has been special teams all year. I don't expect Sherman to know these on EVERY team during regular season..but when we're down to 4 games, please do a bit of research. The Bills methodically marched the field against a healthy number 3 D and the difference in the game was KC's elite kicker was money from 47 and the Bills kicker, who was trash last weekend as well, misses a 44 yd kicker by a mile. When u miss that badly u just choked

They started that when they fired their OC. The new OC started taking the ball out of Allen’s hands and the turnovers stop and they start winning. The new OC and play calling is the only reason they made it this far. Protecting themselves from Allen😂

Whereas the Chiefs' second leading receiver was MVS, who'd had trouble catching the ball in big moments all season. But whenever Mahomes or Reid were asked about him or the other guys like Toney and Moore (who weren't playing in last night's game), they always said they trust their guys and are going to keep looking their way because eventually they'll make the big plays. That is exactly what you want from your QB and coach.

Tom Brady played with one of the best kickers of all time during that initial dynasty run from 2001-04 and with another excellent kicker in the second one from 2014-18. Also the sport is literally called "foot"ball. It starts with a kickoff. It evolved from/alongside rugby, where points are often scored by kicking. Many years ago there were debates over whether the onside kick was a better way to advance offensively than the forward pass. It's just yet another case where Skip hasn't the faintest clue what he's talking about.

The Bills' coaches wanted to control the game for the last 7 minutes. Josh Allen was playing like it was only 13 seconds left the whole drive. Josh got in his own way instead of following a really great final drive game plan.

Allen had two potential INTs and almost fumbled the game away in the 4th quarter. The Bills committed a blatant (but effective) penalty to avoid another fumble turnover at the beginning. They did NOT play that well, they received some incredibly fortunate chances to even be close.

I think Richard is wrong when he says that Brady called the game like he didn't trust Josh. We knew going in our defense was down to third stringers going against Mahomes. We needed to control the time of possession and keep our defense off the field as much as possible, so they'd be as fresh as possible to have any hope.

He finally has a good defense (which got ran over most of the game) and now the defenses suddenly matter when comparing qb play. 6 straight afc championships proves this is no fluke he's better and it's not close.

Josh Allen is obviously a great Quarterback, but to say he was letdown is a stretch. Chiefs fumbled the ball at the 1 yard line and also should‘ve recovered his fumble in the 4th Quarter. Diggs obviously had a big drop but Josh also missed a Checkdown to Diggs on his last throw. At the end of the day Games like these come down to your best Playmakers making plays when Plays need to be made and Mahomeboy and the Chiefs made them
