How is it that those with opposing view of this can say what they want and teach CHILDREN whatever they want and its fine. The double standard and hypocrisy in this country are staggering.

People are also taking this out of context because he meant that if you choose to be a mother not to forsake the important job of homemaker as so many people are doing today. Plus his mom had a successful career and he wasn't hating on her either.

Was he arrested? How about losing his job? Freedom of speech is real and I'm down for protecting it but people also have the freedom to respond to your speech and that is even more important. Freedom of speech means jack when only one side can speak their mind.

I find it hard to believe God or Jesus would say being gay and loving who you love is a sin. Someone who is gay doesn't do harm to anyone. There are many gay couples who adopt children. Im not gay but i have no problem with someone who is gay. People are born gay.
He downplayed how much the women there really want to have the careers they just went through years of studying for by saying he bet that they wanted marriage and kids more right now.. Many women in the audience were shocked with their jaws dropped and looking at each other and booed him and I would have too because that kind of insulting, belittling, language should stay in the 50s. (And yes I am for free speech before people start accusing me of not being for it cuz I know that would probably happen without this disclaimer. That doesn't mean I can't disagree or boo people.)

It’s crazy how people can’t disagree anymore. We hate people who disagree on 1-2 issues. I disagree with Butker on LGBT being a deadly sin. However, I respect him for sticking to his beliefs and speaking his mind. Butker never promoted violence or discrimination of gay people. I’d rather people speak their mind than suppress views out of fear of being fired.

We'd just be like animals with no idea of right or wrong. God is the reason truth is objective and everyone shares the same morals (such as murder is wrong).

They dislike his opinions because they come off as attempting to hold everyone to the standards of his religion and political views. After raising our kids to highschool age as a fulltime nurturer and homemaker my wife got her engineering degree and started her dream job...then we just had another baby. While she is currently on maternity leave I continue wonder if I should quit my job to avoid day care and allow my wife to continue working. We both make the same amount of money. With that said I need help from this group of viewers to answer these fundamental questions: 1: Does society need fathers at work more than society needs fathers at home being the full time nurturer and homemaker? 2: Does society need mothers at work more than society needs mothers at home being the fulltime nurturer and homemakers? 3. Does society need both working parents more at work than society needs one parent to stay home as the fulltime nurterer and homemaker?
