I remember the last time they said a flood was going to swamp right down the Fraser . Went to a buddies house on the flats and he had all his canoes and boats lying on the ground with 50 foot lines up to his second floor balcony lol . never happened thank luck . hope everyone and there animals is fine .

I'm wondering if it's the pilot recording. So the easier position is vertical? Definitely frustrating. You wonder with all the bells & whistles on phones today, why there isn't a software override when using the camera to record, it would auto to landscape mode.
Going to deposit a lot soil downstream, then all the floating flotsam may hang up. Remember Hells Gate landslide, yes it was caused by man. The blasting causes a small slide in 1913 and a larger rock slide on February 23, 1914 during which an estimated 100,000 cubic yards (76,500 cubic metres) of granite slide into the river just above the left bank outcrop that forms Hells Gate. Then eventually, they used more explosives to help fix their mess they created. it took a toll on the fish for decades.
There is probably a logical reason for that upright view. I could be wrong, but the video image appears too steady to be handheld. If true the cellphone may be mounted on a tripod of sorts that only allows for an upright position of the phone to shoot videos. We may never know for sure?!

So much for all the "EXPERTS" that said it would just over top and GRADUALLY come down.... Others and I were chewed out on so many EXPERT channels, when we said it was soft dirt and sand and would wash out really quickly.

Heard of "a wall of water" on the one hand, on the other it would be "a trickle until Fall" -until the change in the weather. This looks somewhere in between.
Only thing I can think watching this is how much gold is being washed out right now, if you're cabin got destroyed you could probably make enough back in a week playing in the creek after things calmed down to rebuild.
Sorry, as a person on the other side of this globe, not US citizen or related, could anyone tell me the exact location? Last three nights I've been insomnia and suddenly got YT suggestion first night. Quickly found the river, but glancing up and down I couldn't figure exact location. Every YT vid I've been suggested so far (OK, only a small handful, but anyway) are only mentioning the river name, like it was a 1 mile river or so.......so, anyone? Thanks in advance.
