I’m 32 and her sons would’ve been a little older than me. She needs to keep rotting in jail! Those boys would’ve been at their prime right now, no way she should be free.
I remember praying for the kids, at a Bible study group, and this feeling came over me that it was all over with and the boys were already found. Just then, another lady came busting into the room and said, "She drowned her kids in the lake." And we all instantly knew who she was talking about.
Shes not rotting , shes eating drinking watching movies and socializing...getting full medical coverage and probably has a lover on top of it .American are fools when it comes to justice
The oldest was able to get out of his car seat. He was crying and screaming while looking out the back window at her. This case made me sick ! Sad thing is, she will probably be released.
@@boycee1 It was dark outside as the car rolled into the water. Both boys strapped in their car seats, asleep. When the car was found, both boys were strapped in their car seats. Heartbreaking story. No need to add untruths.
The boys' father said he will be at the parole hearing to oppose her release. She has been in contact with men on the phone who said they will take her in. I read some of the things said, raunchy, and a man has to be hard up to take care of her. She should never be released.

Like it or not Susan Smith is attractive physically. I am almost 60 and personally not into Girls under 50. She is skinny, has a pretty face and nice features. Most likely has nice teeth. Prison guards have fallen to her.
There was another recently arrested in the US for executing (shot in the head) her two beautiful boys in their beds. Her appearance before the judge is on youtube now and apparently she wants a plea deal. Vile.

Why didn't she leave them with their father who would have been more than happy to take them. She is sick and I hope she is never released. She is a monster!

yes but he mighta tried to get her to pay child support, she would have to explaiin to people why she gave her kids away. she woukd be expected to have visitation. she clearly is a psycopathic narc sicko.
@@detective___mcnulty If she felt she could no longer take care of her kids or did not want to continue to take care of her kids, she could have brought her kids to her parents, husbands parents or other family members or contacted DCF/DCYF, dropped them off at the fire or police dept. She had several options.
I was young and I saw it and I was crying, I knew what she did and I remember wondering how she could do that to such cute innocent babies. Disgusting and evil.
I remember this case vividly. I am the same age and had my two babies the same ages as her angels. This case gave me sick to my stomach. I couldn't imagine how she could do such evil to her innocent little babies. I don't believe she should ever be released. She is pure evil. Her two precious boys never had a chance neither should she.

It would be a crime to let her out. I remember hearing that when the car was pulled out of the water, they saw that the two little boys were holding hands....They must have been terrified. That's unforgiveable ..
I was 26 when she did this. The cops did not believe her story. They kinda let her hang herself with her behavior with the crocodile tears, when she addressed the public. Why did she not get two life sentences? There were two babies. What goes through my mind, and always did, was what those babies went through. Also, what did those babies go through in her care, before the drownings?
I remember her fake crying a lot when media was filming her. She acted like a grieving mother and victim. No way should she be released. She shown no remorse.
One who didn’t even want her.She thought if the kids were out of the way he’d change his mind. She hasn’t changed one bit.The parole board hopefully sees that.
She doesn’t deserve to breathe, little alone be released. I’m a resident in South Carolina, and where this happened is not far from me. I will never forget this, and what she did to those poor babies. As a mother of four, 3 boys, and one girl, I would never hurt my children. My job is to protect them for as long as I breathe!
She was sentenced to 30 years with the possibility of parole after the 30 years. Many many inmates have these type of sentences and they never see the light of day. It is highly unlikely she will ever be paroled.
Especially since she is being incredibly foolish about showing no remorse and her plans to get out and continue to manipulate, live off others and have fun. There is already evidence she should not be paroled.
Look at California and Nys. They let murders out constantly, and nys is closing down another 5 prisons this year because crime is so low according to the governor

I don’t think anyone who was alive then will, it was heartbreaking. And hard to believe it was thirty years ago already, those boys would be grown with families who loved them by now 😢
Neither will I until the day I die, I will always see those two little smiling boys' faces.😢 I cannot imagine the horror they endured drowning slowly with no way to escape.💔
@TinyStar-oz3bo I tend to disagree. The prosecutor in the Casey Anthony case brought those charges WAY before they had sufficient evidence. I guess the concept of a jury is kind of a game of chance, but you’d think 12 people would be able to figure it out.

@@Sniperboy5551as I recall the Casey Anthony jury foreperson stated (and they all agreed) they found her not guilty BUT didn’t think she was innocent. The state fudged the case 100%.
I can't imagine he wouldn't be. If he can't be there, I would imagine there will be a letter that will state the cons of release. Atleast I pray that would be the case.

I remember when this happened. My mother-in-law and I watched her television interview/plea for their return and my MIL automatically said, "That woman is lying. She killed her kids." I thought MIL was being kind of toxic and unsympathetic, but she was 100% correct. Some people pursue higher education to learn the nuances of body and facial language, but I swear, my MIL could _smell_ the guilt through the television. She just had that kind of instinct. RIP to her, and RIP to those poor little boys. Susan Smith is as evil as it gets. She'd be better off staying in jail, because it's a different world today than the world she left when she went to prison. People are more extreme these days. She should never be granted parole, anyway.
OMG this exactly what happened with me and my sister..I told my sister the same exact thing and my sister stopped talking to me because of this and a few weeks later the world found out that I was saying the truth. I was actually just right across the street from the murder scene on vacation and unfortunately got back home completely traumatized and never went back to North Carolina.
That’s the same thing I said while watching Chris Watts being interviewed after his family went “missing”…..he was babbling on and I said, “He’s lying, that man killed his family….they aren’t missing, they are dead”……monsters are amongst us!

This woman delusional if she think she is getting out of prison. During her time locked up Susan Smith have been a very troubled prison mate. She has been in affairs with the prison guards, she been caught with drugs, and her behavior has been unacceptable. The parole board mostly look for to see if a prisoner has been well behave while serving their time. It weighs heavy on the board they take it very serious.
My friends son does work in the prisons. He lost his young daughter in a tragic accident last month. When he returned to work Susan Smith had the nerve to approach him asking about the bracelet (she was flirting), he wore for his daughter. He told her of his loss and she said “I’m so sorry. Losing a child must be incredibly hard”. She needs to rot in prison.
She went in looking all homely & plain but she now looks improved, older but looking bight & well... clearly prison isn't as harsh as it should be for baby killers
I remember this very well. My firstborn son was less than a year old when this happened. I had the picture of those two sweet little boys on my refrigerator for a long time. I cried every time something was reported about it on the news. That horrible woman needs to NEVER be let out of prison!!
She shouldn't have gotten the hope of parole in the first place. It's wrong that victims have to keep showing up, getting retraumatized over and over every few years for the rest of their lives. How do they ever really move on? How is this considered to be fair? I don't get it!
What she did was so incredibly cruel and evil that she should never ever let her out. She seduced a guard and others so she has NOT behaved herself in prison either- NO WAY!!!!
“Seduced a guard.” Bruh, an inmate cannot consent to relations with a corrections officer. As a matter of law, in this scenario the officer is the perpetrator and the inmate is the victim.
