The problem is that Brian, and then Mick and Keith, are just cut from different bolts of cloth. Brian was a devout bluesman, while Mick and Keith preferred to go the way of commercialism and pop. The break was inevitable; even Brian in these early interviews was acknowledging that it wasn't fame he was after; rather the attainment of a certain types of creative goals (Brian was also exploring film making). He also acknowledges the fact that (as the band leader) he wasn't happy with the results of what the band was producing. Bill Wyman tells us that after the break, Brian knew he had to reform his lifestyle in order to get his feet back under him. Bill says that Brian was happy and looking forward to his next band and the prospects of being able to create the kind of music he really loved (as opposed to the music his hijacked band was pursuing.) Losing Brian is just one great big heartache; the world is a much poorer place for our loss. ***
@@rockitMiC no entiendo nada lo que dicen, pero yo escucho a los Stones de Brian, luego murieron para mi. Sin él son una banda "buena nada mas". Pero ya no fueron mas The Rolling Stones.
I agree with everything. Brian was in danger not because of drugs, but because he was in a transition period where the old was not completely gone and the new just showing on the horizon. His house was apparently no more a place where he was looked after and safe either. People can loose their restraint when there are no witnesses around. The real scandal is the cover-up.
Beautiful video, I'm actually in tears. What really got me is the song :( Brian will be missed. It's a shame his own band members are hesitant to acknowledge his talents decades later
Brian was the only "rolling stone" who was a true rolling stone....sex,drugs,illegitimate babies,hedonism,nihilism...he did the lot.May he rest in peace.Love you forever, man.
I can imagine Mick cutting him down with that sharp tongue of his, devaluing and diminishing his efforts. Brian wasn't the best human being but he did take his music very seriously.
People close to him recognized his flaws and weaknesses. Tragic that he,in the end, didn't have the strength to deal with them. Such a waste of unique talent.
The heart and soul of the Rolling Stones, never were the same after you were gone.they are a great band but with out soul. R.I.P. BRIAN JONES. .......J Deuce RnR Toronto Canada
@@margueritemazzeo2904 As I have explained before I have no hatred for Brian nor have I harboured any for the 50 something years since he tragically died. What I DO hate is when people make up stories about famous rock stars to satisfy an agenda and attribute talents and abilities to them that they never possessed, and then others repeat those lies as though they were historical fact. I didn't have to read about the history of the Stones who they were and what they did... I remember it.
I love listening to his beautiful smooth voice. He was such a charismatic young man, and very attractive. Gone way too early but he certainly packed a lot into his 27 years. RIP Brian, you were a real one off.
if brian was alive stones would have a better sound brian could play all insraments he also had a open invitation to beatles recording sessions any time that how much beatles thought of him mick and kieth were and are jealous of brian jones
Exactly & when Mick & Keith met Brian it was the luckiest day of their lives. They would've been nobodies. Then they stoled his band. The music was never the same without Brian. NO JONES NO STONES.
💓💓💓💓💓💓 💋💋💋💋💋💋 ✨✨✨✨✨✨ 2/7/23/!!!!!!
I always liked and appreciated hi. He was do talented He was fighting a battle he didn't win. So tragic to have lost him do soon. Thd band was nowhere as good after he left
I will never first hearing this on 8 track tape 1973!! 2 years later I saw the Rolling Stones for $12.50- outrageous for the time. Then I find out the lineup included Billy Preston. There was no backing band. The stage was shaped like a petal
A fair slim boy not made for this world’s pain, With hair of gold thick clustering round his ears, And longing eyes half veiled by foolish tears Like bluest water seen through mists of rain; Pale cheeks whereon no kiss hath left its stain....
Sorry for my ignorance but did you read this poem? If you did it's beautiful and powerfully moving. You must have a tender heart which I believe Brian had too. What happened to Brian? I'm 42 and he died a long time before I was born but I worry about what happened to him in his childhood and what love he maybe didn't receive from his parents. I honestly believe his parents didn't show him love and I know things were different in those days. I hope Brian did feel love from others in his life and I hope he did experience some happiness in his short life. To so it might seem silly or worse strange to others that I worry about Brian but I do. He's been gone a long time but I'm still here and it's not stupid to me that I worry about how life was for Brian? As a little girl I was often told by my mother life isn't fair but life shouldn't be one long unhappiness and then you die? God bless Brian I wonder if he could send me a sign all I is well for him and that all will be well for us all living now? I think Brian had a 'dark side' but I believe we all do. Being human isn't about being perfect to me it's about having courage to be yourself and making mistakes just because you have cared enough to try living. I believe Brian suffered from depression and he said he wished for a world without it. So if people ignore the image of Brian of being hooked on drugs because he was just took them for fun, I believe his depression led (I'm dyslexic) to drugs. His drug image is a betrayed of who he really was. He was very intelligent and maybe in this world it's easier if you're arrogantly stupid? Thinking is the enemy of the stupid after all isn't it? I could of bored you but I truly mean all this. Please write more because I would love it.
@@charlottelouise209 Beautiful comment..now I wish Brian would contact me or give a sign from the Great Beyond that he is alright..such a sad and short life...Only the good die young...even though he had human flaws..
@@margueritemazzeo2904 Thank you. Your comment is beautiful too and touching. Life can be to full of misery and unhappiness. It's just too unfair and unjust sometimes and awful people can seem to suffer the lease. I wish what you say could happen to.
How can anyone in their right mind say that Brian Jones "founded the Rolling Stones when their debut performance at the Marquee Club On July 12th 1962 consisted of the band called the Blue Boys, Keith's band that had been founded the year before. They had changed their name and they added two new players Brian and Ian Stewart but the rest of the band was Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Dick Taylor on Bass and the drummer Tony Chapman. The performers on stage that night were the entire Blue Boys band, Keith's band. The only group Brian Jones ever founded was the 27 club. It is all a myth and a lie to say that Brian Jones founded the Rolling Stones. Brian JOINED the Blue Boys,Keith's band and THAT band then changed their name to the Rollin Stone It was Keith and Mick who brought the entire Blue Boys band together and then when Brian and Ian asked to join they brought them in as well.. the Rollin Stones were Keith's band and he founded them. and led them to world wide fame and success.
The only solution of Brian's murder is: Lewis Brian Hopkin Jones born 1942.02.28 = Otto Wilhelm Rahn resigned from SS EXACTLY 3YEARS before: 1939.02.28 !
