I love Chucky’s appearance throughout the original movie. Him gradually turning more human looking is something they should have kept up in the sequels as that’s a key point in the story that he doesn’t have an infinite amount of time to get out of the doll. Why didn’t they continue this?

Why is it so hard to find a video of the doll being constructed step-by-step??? They made tens of these things for the TV show, so clearly by this point the design has been standardized; WHERE ARE THE BLUEPRINTS? I realize that making a movie-accurate replica would be prohibitively expensive for most people. But you're seriously telling me not a single DIY robotics enthusiast has succeeded yet? You're telling me not a single one of these animatronics has been auctioned off as a movie collectible? What the hell is going on here? Am I just bad at Googling things? Or is this some protected industry secret reserved only for Daft Punk?
Building the head wouldn't be impossible, in the end it's just servos and easy to build mechanisms. The hard part is the body, and getting those fluid movements. Of course, since it's a movie doll, no one will ever give you the original plans.
