Chucky: "Are we having fun, now? It would be a shame if it weren't so terrifying. Oh what the heck, I'll laugh anyway!" *Laughs his iconic laugh with a Joker tone*
I don't think Chucky would have killed anyone he just killed to protect Andy yeah he killed a lot of people for no reason but he mainly wanted Andy to be his best friend
@@yassarafaaf4307 I think you mean 2050 because 1988+31=2019 New reboot chucky 🔥 👉 and 2019+31=2050 and that is litreally the date everyone predict is the end of the World but pretty sure it fake... but i think it the date where something happens and have changes and i just noticed this....... now im traumatized
This version of Chucky is almost a polar opposite of 80’s Chucky. 80’s Chucky was a real man that killed for his own sick pleasure, and continued to do so as a doll. New Chucky is a corrupted AI doll that kills to protect his owner.
@@rmhd7550 well he thought that Andy was his buddy and then when he told chucky that he's not, he has lost it and decided to kill him to make him laugh, because they laughed at a horror movie. So technically, it's the kids' fault for chucky's behavior or otherwise he would have reacted differently.
@@nicoleputnam7778 yes but not for killing,he just got his guard deleted. Learn coding its fun i do taht to my bot sometimes, but mine has a power button soooo~
It’s so strange seeing a horror remake be this good. I loved this movie, honestly this, the original and Cult of Chucky are my 3 favorites of the whole series
Relationship between Chucky & Andy is the best aspect of this movie, Chucky’s motivation aside from being a serial killer just cause is because he genuinely loves Andy and wants him to be happy. 8.5/10 I enjoyed every second of it truly.
xXwierdestXx 1116 that was at the end of the movie after Andy rejected Chucky like 5 times already lol, at this point Chucky was removing everyone from Andy’s life so they could be together forever with no interference. Did you even watch the movie?
Am i the only one that preferred this one over the original.... I just like the concept, the comedy, thr relationship between the doll and andy was AMAZING. I hope theres a sequal, this is one of my favorite movies ever tbh
I feel like this one is more serious and emotional than the others. But thats why people loved the old ones because they were pretty whacky and fucking INSANE, especially with the Chucky in those movies.
@Brandon Ohara there isnt a whole lotta kills, but the ones they do have get pretty gorey. Its not Saw levels of gore, but it definitely earns it R Rating
Won’t spoil anything but this movie took a way different direction than the original which was pretty cool. I was confused at first when I felt empathy chuck lol
I really can’t help but feel bad for Chucky. He was only doing what he thought Andy would have liked. Imo, the first two kills were almost justified just because Shane and that repair man were giant creeps. Also the scene where he gives Andy the broken stick warmed my heart so much, it was so cute! Mark Hamil’s sweet and wholesome Chucky was a nice differentiation from Brad Dourif’s loudmouth and crude Chucky
Child's Play is looking to make 40 million before its run is over. That's a huge success! Come on Orion, when are you and this amazing producing team going to announce the sequel?
"You are my buddi until the end. More than a buddi, you're my best friend. I love you more than you will ever know, I will never let you go. I am your buddi until the end. More than a buddi, im your best friend. When you feel lonely and you start to cry, I am always by your side. We are best buddies until the end. More than just buddies, we are best friends. Dont never leave me, please don't say goodbye, I'll be yours till the day that you die." - Chucky your best buddy
This movie was so different yet had elements from the old movies it felt like I was watching the old with the new It was good not scary kinda creepy of course but honestly it was very enjoyable!
Anyone still on the fence about this movie, just go in not expecting the original and you should enjoy it. As a long time fan of the series I can say this is a good side story for this series.
Doofy that’s fair. It makes it easier knowing that the original series will continue regardless of this movie, so I don’t look at this like a replacement. More like and alternative if voodoo possessed dolls aren’t your thing.
I do not know. I still hate this Chucky. I will have to really be bored and have nothing to do to be able to go out and force myself to watch this movie.
Same but that's not the reason why he killed its cuz andy was laughing at a killer movie and chucky saw him laughing and so chucky killed to make andy happy
@Z's_ World That mean i can't watch. Horror movies any more. That's a no for me. And beside i can just give chucky back to the people who made the robot's if he ever get nuts
@Z's_ World before that moment guy working at factory sabotage the Buddy dolls purposely making the buddy dolls evil and then the men jump to his death as a act of suicide landing on car then movie specifically show us the then now evil doll moving from factory to store shelves then Andy mom specifically just so happened to pick one we know are evil and take it as Gift to Andy who then him and his friends watch chainsaw massacre horror movies.
This movie was great for what it was. They did a good job on making you feel for Chucky even with his obviously not the best design, they had a good plot and story. I really enjoyed the movie, well worth your time!
“You are my sunshine my only sunshine You make me happy when skies are gray You'll never know dear how much I love you Please don't take my sunshine away..” Ups wrong song hah
I really enjoyed this movie. They did a really good job on it. But honestly Chucky was so sweet and adorable but Andy made him bad. It's the humans that turned Chucky bad, damn kids lol
“I’m sorry Andy” Except for the fact that he misunderstood killing as something essential to keeping Andy’s attention and affection, Chucki genuinely seemed to care for Andy, and its a real shame things went the way they did. I didn’t think I would say this. But I think I prefer this Chucki to a serial killer using voodoo. You really feel for Chucki and don’t WANT him to be a killer. You want them to be friends.
@@cianobaiano2885 it a reboot thats why it ruin our childhood now People born 2018+ are gonna say that this movie is there childhood but we need the original to end in a awesome ending like bruh we cant be left like that.... and we finally can end our childhood in a good way like man 1988+31 years=2019 reboot chucky ..... 31 years is alot man they need to make a last movie and end the whole franchise like i want my childhood to end in a good way.......
Just gonna say this when Mark Hamil sang this song it made me think of that song he sang as the Joker in Arkham City. So now Chucky is his second most terrifying role, Joker being number one.
Watching the movie I realize he just killed to be with his best friend Andy, I really liked this new version of the OG movie, more twisted and with a whole new story based in real modern problems like technology, children’s violence and toxic relationships.
The doll is cute once you get used to it. It's always gonna take some time getting used to new establishments. You'll have to see this film more--WHICH I plan on doing until it releases on Netflix, Blu Ray, etc. lol 😅. I just loved this film. Amazing 10/10 for me.
Let’s remember that Chucky threats anyone who tried to threaten his relationship with the kid... This version of him is kind of like well.. The kind of Chucky that killed people but got kind of a mama bear like feel
@super 0 6 chucky didn't want to kill Andy through the first 2 movies. He wanted to transfer his soul into his (alive) body. He only tried to kill Andy as revenge later when he was stuck in the doll forever.
Got done watching it an hour ago Yall Did A Fabulous job ,and mark hamill did really stunning as chucky he was amazing , and all the acting was great as well, I'll give this a movie 10/10
This actually was not a horrible Remake I actually really liked it Mark Hamill's portrayed Chucky very well especially when he played an innocent AI Robot he just wanted a friend and didn't understand and thought Violence was the way to make Andy Happy!
Old Chucky: *kills people because he had the soul of a serial killer* New Chucky: *killed people Andy to protect and serve Andy even he killed many people*
Chucky wasn't actually evil in this film honestly. His actions were all completely reasonable, logical, and compassionate given the information he had at the time.
The whole movie I only felt sorry for Chucky, he was such a sweet doll and only wanted Andy to be happy😞 I loved the scene where he made Andy a broken Popsicle stick with a ribbon on it❤ Honestly, I loved this movie it was so sad😞 I only felt sorry for Chucky and I really want a Buddi doll like him! He was so sweet! I love Chucky in this movie!
No a guy working for the company that makes the dolls turned the safety features off on Chucky and also Chucky kills people because Chucky can only be andy’s friend. Chucky pretty much loves Andy in this and kills anyone who is his friend or anyone who is mean to Andy.
Poor Chucky. I like this version of him a lot. There's a weird innocence to him. He doesn't understand that he's doing horrible things. He just wants to protect Andy and be his friend. What he was designed to be. He's not a monster. He's just going haywire. Very sad in a way cause he loves Andy.
@CatShark Games dude they own Chucky but not buddii Chucky it's a long story but this Chucky it's like a Chucky verse this version of Chucky they do not own and the producers already said if this movie does well they will make a sequel
@CatShark Games They just can't call it Child's Play 2 or reference anything from that movie. They could always call it Child's Play: Chucky's Revenge, which sounds campy, but it actually works in the context of the story!
@CatShark Games It's not even Don's or Universal Studios concept, it was Tom Holland the supporter of the remake who wrote 50% of the OG Child's Play, introduced Brad Dourif and created the Serial Killer and Voodoo folklore concept. Don was never keen on the idea, his story was about Andy using his rage to control his doll with a movie title "Batteries not included" which a 1987 movie already had that title. Universal can't do shit nor can Mancini because MGM owns the title Child's Play and the Characters Andy, Chucky, Karen etc plus MGM are not doing a cookie cutter movie, they will come up with their own plot like 2019 remake
