I'm convinced child support isnt about giving the kid money to survive, it's about giving women money to spend on themselves and maybe abit on the kid.
All the money should go to a specific account that can only be accessed by a select few, like a will, or something. And then the child, gets all of it, on top of a financial manager.

I was an abusive relationship anf ha d a child from it. Moved to another state and got a restraining order. Court tried to tell me that i should get child support snd intold them no because that meant sharing where we lived and no piece of paper was going to keep him away if he found that out. Plus he had no money, i paid for everything. They tried to say i would be a bad parent and i argued being a bad parent would be trying to tell me to get 0% from 0% and all i would get is me kilked and my son possibly kidnapped abd killed all because the courts want their mediocre 70% fees from a kid that belongs to none of them but theyre using as a payday and putting our lives on the line for.....they dropped the child support angle real quick after that. And on the spousal, a friend of mines was married 10 years. Found out his wifes been cheating on him since they were DATING and having guys over their house while he was deployed, hes in the army. He DIVORCED HER but they ruled she gets paid 2k a month....when she was the one playing Hop on Top throughout their marriage. So to me, this is just BS
