My friend once had a HUGE, muscular pitbull named Claire. We called her the beast and she was pretty scary looking at first but she loved EVERYBODY. She was such a sweet girl and never barked at anyone but she thought she was still a puppy and playing with her was like getting hands thrown at you lol.

I have a rescue Pitbull who is just broken (in a sarcastic good way). Her brain is like ork control panel, just GO and STOP. she has no concept of “limits” and many times has hurt herself playing, last year she actually cut herself on a car door but still ran around like it was nothing. We had to clean up blood splatter On the walls because she wa bleeding from her tail as it was wagging a mile a minute.

School Rumble is a rom com where people aren't in love triangles, but rather 95% of the cast is in a love dodecahedron. It's a bunch of quirky high schoolers all interested in a someone who's interested in someone else, and they want someone who's actually a bad match for them.

What Nate described about School Rumble is actually just one episode in particular. I forget the reason they were doing a battle royale in the middle of the night at their school, but the main story is that the main guy Harima was the delinquent that was trying to change to get the attention of the main girl Tenma who was a giant airhead who was into the mysterious/oddball dude. Meanwhile as Harima tries to win her over, he unintentionally makes her younger sister who looks older and more mature, as well as the rich, if a bit bratty (read: tsundere) Eri to fall for him. It was a wild ride, but fun for the most part. As I haven't seen it in years, I've no idea how well it has aged. TLDR: wacky and absurd high school shenanigans with a mix of romantic comedy.

I didn't have a child hood crush actually, as Nick said there's a difference between Lust and an actual crush. On the lust side, I guess May from Pokemon, on the physical crush side. I have no memory of a child hood crush. Makoto from Persona 5 was the earliest I can remember when I was 16, but after a second playthrough that shifted over to Haru. I played tons of racing games, and just generally games that happened to not have named characters when I was a kid and when I watched TV my brain was mostly just turned off and I didn't absorb like 90% of what I saw.

I am 27y. Hugh Jackman was my main childhood crush since I saw him in Kate & Leopold, I was 6 when that film came out. He was shortly dethroned when Casino Royal came out and I saw Daniel Craig as Bond. As far as animated childhood crushes, It was Kenpachi from Bleach, Kakashi from Naruto, Xanatos from Gargoyles, Batman and Tsume from Wolf's Rain. Noticed the Metroid Prime music. Men of culture, you are. Also, I’d say give School Rumble a chance. It’s a one of those ones that came out in the early 2000s (could be wrong) that’s just hilarious 80% of the time. Especially when has these two lines in the dub: “WHEN DID THIS FACELESS MOB OF EXTRAS START CHASING ME!?” “Some nice running there, try not to let my bare chest distract you.”

School rumble could be described as a seed that starts off as a love triangle branching out into a damn tree while the main 3 of the love triangle are still stuck in the same loop. Guy like dumb girl but dumb girl like different guy who's main obsession is curry only to have other people's relationships happen behind the scenes. It is a very... quirky show that not everyone is going to like but behind the very heavy school life comedy is a story about love. Be it about not changing who you are, about if your feelings will reaching them without changing who you are, or just about figuring out if you should even be allowed to like the guy when that guy you started to like has always been interested in your older sister yet that same older sister has a friend that is interested in him too.

This was cool to watch and listen thru again. I thought I’d comment til after I completed the vid this time, and a good thing too. On the topic of older women, for some reason I found myself attracted to Lauren Dern in The Last Jedi. I swear, Nick and I have the same taste in women. As far as fictional characters go. Mavis, Fiona, and Miss Kawakami are high on my list as well. For the obvious reasons. Goth girl look, thicc thighs in them knee-highs, and (for me) the maid aesthetic adds to her character. Funny thing too is that my gf fives off mad Futaba energy. Without the red hair tho. Also, Nate, I found it pretty cool that your dog’s name was Bella. I have a ferret who shares the same name as well. This was fun to watch thru.
