As Zuko would say, "That's rough buddy'' I went through a similar situation in junior high. In my experience, 'fake' describes someone who behaves in a way that is unnatural to them for the sake of looking cool to the other kids. Some of my most cringy memories are from me trying to imitate certain people or groups, but since it was such an unnatural behavior for me, it just came off as incredibly embarrassing.

I sympathize with Connor over being one of the few British kids to watch the Disney Channel. The problem with it was it was one of those channels you had to pay extra to unlock, but sometimes it was free for a while so I managed to watch it occasionally. The Emperor's New School was my favorite.

Honestly, I am currently in my senior year of High School, and I hate the fact that I have not yet found my own group of people, in the long run, it does not bother me that much, because I am a bit of a loner, but I would love to have friends as you do, or like Emirichu, going into college or the next year in High School, at least when we could hang out at the mall or something like that. I did have some people like that, in the end, but it did not last very long.
