Yo everybody! Thank you so much for watching my cover :) I made a tutorial of how to play it which can be found here :) ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-f3eKYwm-PcE.html
That tone is something else, thick low end but not fuzzy, and the high end is so crisp and clean. That and the phrasing and choice of notes is superb aswell, fantastic playing
No we are supposed to slave 8 hours a day 5 days a week for minimum wage for atleast 45 years! Thats why humanity exists!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
His fretboard and fingers are right in our faces! In close up! I agree it's a little askew and makes certain passages a little challenging, but c'mon. Btw, congrats on your playing.
You practically have everything already. The video quality is good, so it's pretty easy to see everything that is going on. Just put the video on .75x speed and pause every now and then, that's what I'm doing at least
Sean man, you're literally the most dynamic player ever. They way you modulate volume and go in between softer/harder tone with your fingers only is just so seductive man.
Yoo dude i just subscribed. Love your style of playingg.. so fuckin relaxing. Can definatley hear Mayer vibes! loving how u blend arpeggios, harmonics and those hints of blues notes dude. Keep' em comin :)
Oh, my old friend returns thanks to the algo! I had forgotten about this lovely video for a good few years it feels like! And one day, there it is in my feed! Again, unbelievably played!
For anyone wondering if his Patreon is worth it - it literally takes you from 0 knowledge to his sound, total dream course and he's such a patient teacher. Best $10 subscription I've ever had. Totally the reason I've been able to do some loops myself!
Yeah but only a full step down, you could download the video and change the pitch in audacity up 2 semi tones if you want to learn on standard tuning and make it sound right.
@Angel I think he means that it sounds like a Strat, but more importantly that his style sounds like most Strat players style. you know what I mean. The guitar doesnt fit the style and sound (yes i understand its a stereotype) but it would be like seeing a dude play jazz guitar on a Ibanez "heavy metal" guitar
@@ignaciocuello3929 Not to say that SGs are Gibson's version of the Stratocaster. Fender made the Tele and later Gibson made the Les Paul; single cutway solid body. Fender made the Strat and later Gibson made the SG; double cutway.
I almost forgot this cover existed. Literally one of the covers that inspired me to get a looper pedal and record my own covers. This showed back up on my homepage again and I'm so glad it did. Well done man!
The more of your videos I watch the more I'm convinced that I need a Gibson SG. You have one of the best clean tones I've ever heard, and your technique, dynamic control, feel and creativity is amazing. You inspire me, thank you for that.
My man! It’s been said but that tone😍. Could you do a pedal walkthrough in a separate video? Talking about what you use and for what reasons, what you like and what you aspire to gain from each pedal?
So inspirational. Your integrated chords and solos turn this song into a moving, touching song that gives me chills when I listen to it. A million times better than the original. Keep up the great work and keep inspiring people man. You touch and will touch so many more people than you may know.
Sean Angus Watson for sure man. I'm so excited to be an early sub so that when you hit your first million I can say I was there from the beginning lol.
How did you learn to play!! Honestly my favourite guitarist at the moment and would love to be able to play like this l, have listened to this a million times
So glad you posted that tutorial for your cover. This is my favourite cover of this song on RU-vid. Camera angle is so great, plus this song and the way you play it really lends itself to people like me who don't play guitar as their main instrument. I'm a bassist so I'm all about my hands and playing with my fingers. This sounds beautiful with the attack from fingerstyle playing and for once in my life I don't need to whine and complain about chords being too hard to play on guitar since you back everything up with those really tasteful little triad voicings. Newcomer to this channel and a bass nerd before guitar but you've earned a sub from me dude I'm showing everybody your vids
yo why would someone dislike this video??? this is just someone having fun playing the guitar. stop being toxic people, just appreciate the talent of this guys.
Yo man this version of you on instagram is what made me subscribe, a little sad its not entirely the same video i saw on insta to be honest. But all in all hearing you play this shit sends chills down my spine man, keep it up, much love from a guitar player in west by god virginia 🤘🎸🎧🤙
What a beautiful cover! The expressiveness of the phrasing is truly amazing in this piece. I am totally blow away man! Thank you for playing with such feeling that you brought tears to my eyes! So, so good!
