I have played music my whole life. Grew up on Floyd. And this is the absolute most awesome thing I have ever witnessed on a guitar.

Beethoven once referred to the guitar as "the little orchestra," which is certainly possible in the right hands...and he definitely possesses those. One of the best listeners/players I've ever seen.

Words don’t do this justice. I heard every instrument and every word. The creativity, attention to detail and seemingly effortless talent is truly remarkable. He has also showcased how brilliant the piece of music by Floyd really is.

Kent Nishimura is to finger-style guitar what Bobby Fischer was to chess. It's simply ridiculous the amount of talent he has. Looking forward to following his musical journey and seeing where it takes him.

It’s otherworldly. I’m running out of superlatives for this guy and when the words “Time”, “Pink Floyd” and “Kent Nishimura” appeared on my screen, I exclaimed “OH YES!” out loud. It’s an event for me now when Kent puts a new track up.

Playing a Pink Floyd song on an Acoustic guitar, especially one that has one of the greatest solos ever written in the history of rock and roll, and then to bend those strings on the 19th fret to pitch on an “Acoustic”... You sir are a legend. Thanks for doing such a good job on one of the most iconic songs from the greatest Rock band of all “Time”

Kent, you master, you’ve done it again. Pink Floyd is no easy task, and to get it with such tight intonation and masterful fidelity is a remarkable accomplishment at any age, let alone 17. I’m blown away by you every single time. I hope that you will stay humble as your talent takes you places... humility will protect you from a lot of what the most talented people go through, and I genuinely hope that in 20 years time I will still hear your name and marvel at what you’ve accomplished.

Hard to imagine that he will only get better from here. He’s already a maestro and not even 20 yrs old. I just hope to be around to hear to hear what he’ll be cranking out 20-30 years from now. What an absolute talent!

How can I like this more than once?

I’ve been playing guitar for 36 years and have seen some pretty awesome guitar ideas. This is the coolest thing I’ve ever seen. The metronome with the fingernails was epic, but he just took a bunch of pretty basic techniques and combined them into the best idea ever.

This playing is so energetically "connected" (hence the crazy goose bumps I just got watching this), that it almost makes it easy for me to imagine that the guitar is somehow sentient and is blissfully responding in kind to a Master's touch. Each making the other better. Master and Instrument in perfect harmony and playing in perfect unison. You can see when he plays that he goes into the "zone" where artists go when they create. No camera. No connection to the outside world. Just present in that place where artists go. Him and his instrument for a brief moment in time. I'd wished that it had lasted longer. I just discovered Kent and have been binge watching his videos like a mad man. Speaking as a finger style guitarist myself, I think Kent is simply the best fingerstyle guitarist I have ever heard. A very, very gifted young man. And this cover is easily my favorite although I am sure that is largely due to the fact that I am a hard core Pink Floyd fan. But his song list is dialed right into my taste and there are several others which left me gob smacked. What's Love got to do with it, Sweet Love and even Beauty and The Beast blew my mind just for the pure, almost uncanny musicianship he displayed. I am glad I discovered him. I won't forget him any time soon.

Smiling with joy and shaking my head in disbelief at Kent's ability. There are no words to adequately describe what this young man is accomplishing. Totally other worldly.

Perfection and it’s that simple. Music has always spoken to and naturally resonated with me but he creates an experience that that cant be explained, just simply felt. Music at its purest!

The little details in Kent's compositions that stay true to the originals are amazing, the musicality and tempo is fantastic, and he plays with feeling and drive. Always look fwd to the next one.
