RIP Alexi Laiho. Children of Bodom haven't been a major influence during my musical life, but I have owned the Are You Dead Yet? album for a long time and occasionally gave it a spin. Upon hearing of Alexi's passing, I was inspired to give one of their songs a shot, as a tribute.
