The episode we explore war-ravaged Angola, an extraordinary country from every perspective.
A new edit of a 26-part series, now in 3 parts. The 66-day expedition to find the source of the Okavango River. This was shot and first broadcast on South African and Russian TV in 2010. Pandemic issues have resulted in no global expeditions for two years now, so I'm releasing new-edit of material shot over the past decade. I hope you enjoy them.

I enjoyed this even more than seeing it on TV all those years ago. Well ASPW, you made a promise that you'll be back and it's been 10 years - how about it?

It's hard enough to get out of Australia right now! So I don't think I'll be back to Angola any time soon. I've got Ethiopia and Tanzania planned instead.

I truly enjoyed watching this video. It is not just the great shots (stills and videos) and music, but you also showed the personal side of the people in Angola and how it is to travle through this maginificent country. Very well done Andrew and thanks for publishing it on RU-vid.

I don't know if it's because our countries have a 500-year connection if it's because I myself spent a few years in Angola… today in Rwanda I recognize that I miss, not everything, but many things from there. What a surprising country thats for sure! You’re right! And Andrew… the images of Calueque were missing (only from this narrow road of white sand and black clay) and also that beautiful reservoir and waterfalls next to the Ruacaná dam. Excellent video, as always. Thank you.

This is an amazing series. Sumol (the orange juice) is a Portuguese brand. Interesting to find it outside major cities. Maybe they have a production unit in Angola.

From all of your videos, i must say , i pesonally liked this one. It was more todo with the Overlanding, Human and yes Toyota included, but most of all, the human aspect, and the absurness of war. Great pics and shoots.
