In this video we're doing some backcountry snowboarding in Corralco Chile. We brought our slitboards from Whistler to Chile because we heard of the amazing backcountry to snowboard.

That was sick! Totally unique looking terrain. At one point it kind of looked like a dessert mirage in the middle of the snow.

How would your crew compare splitboarding to snowshowing for this approach?

For this day the snow shoes worked just as well as the splitboard. One bonus for split boarding is you don't have to carry your board. The bonus for snow shoes is you can switch to your board faster.
