The Festival By The Sea in Blyth, north east England, is an annual event that just can NOT be missed! It is such a fun food and music festival and ALWAYS has a chilli zone! What else could anybody want!
This pepper eating contest took place on the Sunday, August the 18th 2021! Martin Kemp, who starred in The Krays, Eastenders and was a member of Spandau Ballet back inthe 80's, was even present to DJ a great run through of tunes after the chilli eating contest!
If you are reading this and you live around the north east, or even if you don't, make sure you can get to this festival in 2022! The UK Chilli Queen will be there to greet you!
