I only recently got into breakcore. I have ADHD and some days my brain struggles to get enough stim, even through music. I found that this genre gives my mind enough clicks and taps via the drums/hats but has enough instrumental in the pads and synths to keep me from getting overwhelmed. It’s really nice, actually. An unusual but calming mix of too much and just enough.
and to be clear im not trying to be a snob or whatever, but i relate to op and i want this next generation to understand and appreciate the roots of this music and where it comes from. this sound is jungle. look up like, intelligent drum & bass or atmospheric jungle and youll understand what im getting at. if you want breakcore look up artists like venetian snares, ladyscraper or kid606. most of them also touch on more ambient and relaxing sounds as well as the fast, chaotic, chopped breaks
25:35 I tabbed back to youtube pretty fast, was not at all expecting to hear a mushishi op here! best part about these playlists is finding more music that I like, I'll eventually have my own playlist after I collect my favourite songs from seperate playlists

Emotion 0.1 and Leave me have to be two of my favourite breakcore songs, and I fell in love with them instantly, and I hope you gain the recognition you deserve, and keep pushing out more bangers. I love the glitch/trance elements you bring in on some songs, and I think your style just has this interesting edge to it. I feel the post-Sewerslvt breakcore scene must be pretty rough, with everyone and their dog comparing works to hers, but you absolutely stand out to me at the very least!

If I ever die in a horrible street bike accident, I pray to God that modern drum and bass, specifically sewerslvt or someone else magical, are the ones that continue playing in my helmet and carry me to the next plane of existence or carry me into nothingness.

omg! I have been a bit down because the artist (Sewerslvt) I loved stop making music, BUT now I'm so happy to find another artist who does more Breakcore music that I enjoy. Thank you Iwakura for making wonderful breakcore music!❤
the melodies are really soft, the music feels really organic. unlike classic drum n bass music, the use of "ethereal" sounds participates a lot too, in making this type of vibes. also, on a more technical pov, breakcore songs feel a lot like homemade stuff, (without professional mixing, or this type of stuff), and it gives us the feel that the music is made with the heart
This being recommended to me when I am having a sleep deprivation depressed night feels like a metaphorical answer to the meaning of the saying "when you look into the void, the void looks back"
The anime aesthetics used in this genre of music heavily reminds me of the golden era of nightcore music. It's strangely nostalgic, every time I listen to one of these songs I have to remind myself that it's not nightcore.

I'm literally so obsessed with breakcore I wanna make my own music and post it here but I literally have no idea how to make music like this (or make music at all)
