I don't know if you know but the ep-2 has cruise control. You don't need to pump the throttle like that. Once it's up to max throttle bars it'll just hold that output, until you press the throttle again or the brakes.
That doesn’t really make any sense, even with cruise control on you still retain full control, if you as much as touch the brakes it switches off, same if you want to accelerate.
@@cybermoss1 what I’m saying is that he feels it’s an issue, but when you think it through it makes no sense, if you need to slow down you brake, which immediately shuts down cruise control, if you accelerate it’s the same. Ergo cruise control doesn’t effect your control of the bike, just makes life easier.
Just got the updated version of this bike, and it can run a 16ah battery, you can boost the amp controller to 25amps and it peaks at 1200watts with a little tinkering in the settings. I can cruise on mine, throttle only at 35mph 😎
That’s actually impressive, I’m planning to make a little mod where I put a 35Amp controller and see what happens😅 It should peak at around 1800-2000W just need to be careful with the battery and such, also it has to be mounted exteriorly
Grats, you changed the tire size to make the display read completely wrong. You aren't going any faster, also the amps on the display is almost always locked. Changing the setting does nothing.
Yeah I don’t use my bike that much anymore.. The only settings I Changed is wheel inch size set to 22” so it shows real speed and Amp Current is set to 19Amps
Of course it can! It is a bit heavy tho.. It weights about 30kg. you can’t use it on steep hills without the engine but definitely can on downhills and flat surfaces to save up some battery
Yes. Thats weird. I changed some settings and got real fast. Changed it back so it ran 35kmh again. After that i could not find the setting to get it back to fast mode. Help!!!!!
@@radagastthebrown578 bro idk haha, I didn't change anything about the display because like you I don't want to do any damage. Now the bike is purely standard, i didn't touch anything and it goes up to almost 50km/h. Search for guide and reset everything.
:) .... I have a question pls. I just bought the Engwe T14 350W Mini Ebike. Can I take the battery out and ride as is? It just came to mind, is all, but noteworthy. I'm an experienced rider (almost Pro) just covering every aspect. Thank you for your help. 🌻
INSANE! i have 2021 (original not upgraded) ENGWE EP-2 PRO model and i can only reach 43-44km/h max... You mod something to reach 60km? even when am not on bike it shows 50km/h max on full throttle ...
@@Veiss7 I get that's a joke, anyway speedometer is tested, I compared it to gps speed with my phone and the result is quite accurate. 22" is almost the perfect wheel inch size for this bike. Setting it to 20" would be misleading.
@@viktorzamotajev3460 Sure! I’ll make a nice video as soon as i’m free ;) I am working a lot on this time of the year so I haven’t got much spare time but I’ll surely make a video :) Subscribe to stay updated!
Ciao! Fantastico la tua bicicletta! Ho una domanda. La polizia ti ferma quando guidi la bicicletta? Perché Vorrei anche avere una bicicletta come la tua
The system can measure number of wheel rotations per second or frequency. Speed=wheel diameter*3.14*number of rotation per hour. The system doesn't know what is your wheel diameter. You can change it in Settings. So, if you put larger number for wheel diameter in the settings, you will see larger number on the display and it can be dramatically different from your real speed when driving. For accuracy of speedometer is correct wheel diameter very important. There are several videos that show that. For Engwe EP-2 pro is the most accurate wheel diameter in the Settings, 22 Inch.
This bike is awesome... only negative are the brakes... Mechanical brakes are useless. I went for the engine pro updated version, which comes with hydraulic brakes.... ❤ anyways x20 is also better than both engine pro and ep 2 pro...Engwe is amazing
I also have an Engwe 2pro, and it's a year and a half old.mileage 3330km.When completely new, I got a speed of 52 km/h.You have to check the gps, then it shows correctly. If the diameter of the wheel is wrong, it also shows wrongly. It is hard to believe if there is no gps reading for comparison.🤔
Ciao ho ordinato anche io questa buci elettrica molto comoda. Ho visto che praticamente ti sei fatto da sferracavallo a isola a mondello andata e ritorno quindi penso ha una grande autonomia
hii! Speedometer is tested and compared with gps speed. The result is that the perfect wheel size for this bike is 22 inches, it is only 1km/h less than gps speed.
Speed faster than your engwe? There are more than one version of this bike with 750 watt. However engwe latest is Engine Pro | 750w High Performance Electric Bike with 16 ah battery, massive rear rack and hydraulic brakes. Costs about €1600 and goes this fast The other slower ones are cheaper, not hydraulic etcetera
My bike is an Engwe EP-2 PRO with 12.8Ah battery. I swapped my brakes with third parties that are hydraulic, didn't cost much. dampers are quite weak, only the front fork has a spring which is not hydraulic. I'm sure that if tuned well the engine pro might go faster than 60 km/h. I didn't want to sped 1600€ on a bike tho. I feel good with my EP-2 Pro
WARNING: !!!! Bought mine in 2020 so I didn't have to use public transport in London. I have ridden it almost every day, a round trip of about 5 miles, and I would fold it and keep it in my house when not in use.. Today, as I was about to head home, the frame snapped just behind the hinge. The bike is now in two pieces and nothing more than a pile of junk.
hope you didn’t get hurt.. I don’t use mine that much anymore because i bought a motorcycle so I use the engwe just for short rides or when I can’t use the motorcycle
How did you managed that? Did you do some stunts jumping around with bike? i have drive mine over 4-5000km doing delivery jobs and have 93kg - 205.03 pounds) and nothing snapped so far... (original ep-2 not upgraded version i have).
Oui ça roule bien moi jmen sert dans les chemins de charrettes bois autre ma route attention ça freine pas com y faut il est lourd et C limité sinon c est un bon fatbike
Bike is not actually going as fast as the heads up screen is saying. All he had to do, was go in and change the tire size, to say 26 inches, and it tricks the speedometer into thinking the bike is going faster than it actually is. Many of my ebikes that I have received are factory programmed with a larger tire size giving this false illusion that you are going faster than you really are. Always be skeptical if youtubers do not use a secondary speed app. to check their speed against the stock heads up display. He shows his phone using a GPS app at some point but puts it down out of camera view ounce he is moving again. Why not leave it up for all us to compare speeds?
@@luca.breadcolored3537 just do another speed test with a secondary speed app. so we all can put the speculations to rest. It shouldn't take you but a few minutes to document your speed and then a bit longer to upload it for us all to see. Doesn't have to be anything special. If what you say is true, you are literally the only youtuber that has achieved speeds like this with a stock 750w motor by Engwe. Your subscribers have been asking for this from you. Show us what's up bro! We got to see what you did.
