With the Side Order DLC that came out a short while ago, there was no better time to make a music mix for Splatoon! The series has a very unique and iconic musical style, unlike no other game series.
In my mind, there is a clear difference between ''chill'' and ''relaxing'' music. Chill music is more upbeat and often features some nice beat to vibe to, while relaxing music is more calm and soothing. Splatoon predominantly contains ''Chill'' music, which is why I called the video this way!
In a similar fashion I differentiate between ''hype'' and ''epic'' music, but that's another story. I plan to make a hype Splatoon mix sometime later this year!
