"like this and like that and like this and ah..." Chef John, dude I've watched all 850 videos at least twice, and literally laugh out loud in every episode.
As far I know, if you don't season until the end, the soup will retain a very bright green colour, as opposed to a pear-like colour. I prefer that at least :)
how do you feel if using CAN english peas or string beans for the recipe? don't want to throw away the cans but can't get myself on eatting can veggie.
I don't know, if it's because I smoke, or if I've just built a tolerance too it, but I would not be able to taste that much cayenne at all .. maybe it's a combination of both, idk.
Am I the only one that noticed the "even more" freakishly small wooden spoon.. I had to rewatch that part 3 times... Nice one Chef John.. :)b...............
When he was done talking about his wife's family and said "once you deem them adequately cooked" I thought he was still talking about his wife's family lol
I feel like Chef John is going to start taking this too far.. "It's okay if I drool in it, it's just for my wife and me. Oh no, I'm totally allowed to stick my foot in it, it's just me and my wife after all!"
