Just to let everyone watching or rewatching this know that Orange Socks has been identified. She is 23 year-old Debra Jackson from Abilene, Texas. She disappeared in 1977 and was never reported missing. Her sister saw the new (2018) reconstruction of Orange Socks and contacted police. She visually identified her mortuary photo and the DNA doe project later confirmed the match. She had been working at the Ramada Inn (Amarillo, Texas) and Bur-Mont Assisted Living Facility (Azle, Texas) in the year before her death. Officials believe that she also worked at R.E. West and C.G. Cole Admiral PTR, Realty Investment LTD in 1979 at an unknown location. If you have any information about the murder of Debra Louise Jackson contact the Williamson County Sheriff’s Department.
I am SO GLAD someone featured Walker Co. Jane Doe. She has not had a lot of videos posted about her on RU-vid. She does have a FB page & profile on A couple of independent search websites. I hope she gets identified soon💗
It just passed 38 YEARS since WCJD was found, and 39 YEARS since Orange Socks was found. I pray they will be identified eventually. I have started to wonder about WCJD, BC I have done more research on her case than OS. But the ppl that supposedly saw her.....at the 2 truck stops....suppose the girl they thought they saw was not actually her? She was found naked and with red platform sandals thrown beside the body- it was never determined that they were hers (no results on any tests were ever released). I wonder if it could've been a girl that looked like her but was not actually her. A person who is deceased looks considerably different than when they were alive; especially in her case where she was beaten so badly. I also wonder what pics were shown to the witnesses that said they saw her; were they the mortuary photos? After she was embalmed? Or morgue photos, or the drawings? Because every one of them look different.
She's been waiting such a long time to be identified. She was probably homeless as she was using a cloth in place of a sanitary towel, had bug bites and in another video I watched said she had full body hair, and as most women remove some of their body hair this is unusual if she had a home. She also had untreated gonorrhoea so she clearly didn't have money to see a doctor and may have been exchanging sex for food, money or a place to stay. Her life was hard fir sure but no-one had the right to take it from her. It's heartbreaking that no-one has come forward to identify her or the Walker County Jane Doe, who probably had a sad time of it too, before her death. May God bless both of them, in heaven they have their names Christopher and Chaim had families who loved them, but their ends were also unjust. I hope all these cases are eventually solved and justice is carried out.
Even If they were, and that is even sadder, a Foster Home's tutor has some duties, such as calling the authorities in case of disappearance. This would mean they just thought "Heh, the girl just ran away, Whatever, she will come back I suppose!"
Bothers me how the narrator tells their stories in such a peppy tone as though she's talking about making pancakes...these people meant something to someone...

No she wasn't. A lot of people thought she was Martha Morrison, but Martha was identified as a Jane Doe found in Washington in 1974. Orange Socks was identified as 23-year-old Debra Jackson. Both girls look similar, but they are NOT the same girl.

Lucas was innocent of basically every murder aside from his mom and I think 2 others but he confessed to hundreds of murders and he wasn't fit to stand trial for his mother so how could he have been fit afterwards. It's huge injustice so many closed cases that will never be looked into again were talking hundreds of victims and all of these killers are still free because of Henery Lucas.

Hi. I grew up in the 80s and 90s. We lived in a big, nice neighbourhood. If Halloween fell on certian nights (usually Sunday) our school & neighbourhood association would change it to the night before or after. Most of us would go out both nights just in another area. Lol.

There was a guy ( or girl ? ) That committed 1 murder every St Patrick day Somewhere in the US I’m sure it happens every year But this is strange A single gun shot wound from the same gun in a different state Is it possible that once this person kills 1 person in every state - a murder spree that lasted 50 years ? … a good who done it for a crime book

It seems unbelievable that no one could identify the body of a young woman (Orange socks), and it wasn't that long ago. I mean, all of us have relatives, whether we like it or not, and friends and teachers etc. It feels wrong to die without a name :(
