Yesterday was 'Buddha Purnima'.( According to Bangladeshi time) The most special day for the Buddhist community. You guys might have already figured out that Coke Studio Bangla has targeted the festival/special days mostly celebrated in Bangladesh to release its songs. This song depicted one's eternal longing for his/her loved ones, waiting and the bittersweet feelings of it. Probably it also reminds us about the pain and longing of Gautam Buddha's wife Yashodhara (Joshodhora in Bengali) when He left His home to know about life's greater meaning. But nobody talked about the wife who was left behind. It's just a thought. Somehow can be related with this particular song's plot.
I couldn't help crying after listening the song. It is a very heart-touching song. The song is engrossed with so much pain which is piercing the heart. This song is dedicated to those people who have lost their relatives or close heart people or have stayed away from them on different purposes. Hats off to Coke Studio Bangla again....

In Arnob part, he is missing his loved one so much and thinking about her all the time. The high pitch part that was sang by Ripon, he is wishing if his loved one could came to him as he is far away from her. The high pitch is actually a traditional Bangali Style.This is called "Bhawaiya " that is a type of folk music.
