Before The Age Of Heel, I was convinced the band was ruined. But after the album came out, and I listened to it a few times, it became obvious that Mark really is the key point of this band. As long as Mark is around, Chimaira will live.
I love Chimaira, and hope you guys are around for along time to come. I f I have to learn every song in your catalogue, I'll be your guitar player. Dream come true. Cheers!

Sean said the he didn't realise people bought CD's anymore? Man... I'd buy a CD over a download ANY DAY!! When I buy an album I buy it for the artwork, the story of the band that is written inside the CD booklets etc etc.. It's not all about the music for me. I love to have a nice little piece that is relevant to that particular album. I hate the idea of Mp3 downloads. You lose all the booklet artwork, the lyrics, the band notes and even the glorious printed CD too. I get that you could possibly find all that online, but it's NOT the same! I like the CD package, always have, and always will.
They need to bring their asses on a huge tour across the country and hit every major city. I want to see them live but dont feel like shelling out the dough to drive up north to do it.
I definitely bought at least one of every fucking album. CD. too bad at least I still have those. "economy" didn't stop me from purchasing discs and going to shows for ten years. still pissed. unfortunate.

I’m it’s mad because Roadrunner essentially ruined this band, they gave no promotion to the self titled which should have been their push to the next level but instead Roadrunner blew most of their budget into Slipknots ‘vol.3’ record which came out the same year. Chimaira just went through the motions with their next albums which weren’t as good as the impossibility of reason and self titled, and then just went out with a poof of air.
very true, although in fairness the self titled was a bit bloated. Great riffs here and there but each song was almost 6 minutes long, which contrasted with the punchy/in-your-face nature of the impossibility of reason. Good album but if they were expecting that record to blast them into the stratosphere I think they missed the mark a bit. This is all just my opinion of course.
