Another killer one. Chimaira songs are in my blood. Being a guitar player, ive always loved the guitar riffs and the aggressive attitude of Chimaira. Its not right that metallica,megadeth,lamb of god, and other greats are still making music and playing shows and Chimaira are not, this needs to change!! We need more albums from you!
Actually been loving the composition of this entire album. Have been playing this song for a few days now trying to get it down. Spider crawls a little hard for me since I don’t know the song super super well enough yet. Solo is sick too. Love it man.

That is the baddest part of that song with those bass drops. Im a bit disappointed you didn't play the whole way through at speed a couple times or one even. I register it better when seeing it that way first. Not complaining, sorry if it comes off that way. Love this series either way. Thanks!
I commend those guys that do the tabs... Most of the time they're super close if not spot on! But sometimes, the riff has parts that are just too weird to figure out! haha

Thats a very 80s thrash style riff there! Reminds me of Testament or something. Sounds so natural when you play, everything always runs into each other nicely and fits well together! 🤘
Rob - What was your inspiration for writing this one musically? That ascending powerchord lead you play on the top strings sounds so evil over that riff! Reminds me a lot of Death, actually. Would love to hear where your heard was at when writing this one. You rock
I’ve been binging your videos lately, as well as listening to the Elite LP, made me realize how much I regret selling my 6505, so I just ordered a new one. Your tone is up there with the Justice tone for me. Maybe do a play through of The Next Great Divide? Killer track on a killer album.

I second this one, although for a quick riff there's so much about this song I'd like to see. There's some fancy picking going on, especially the bridge. But more so is the opening riff.

Thanks for the tabs for that part as well...which is a good segway into a quick question, do you know of any reputable sites out there that have at least somewhat accurate guitar tabs for Chimaira songs?
Cheers Jim! Glad you're enjoying them man! I can't really recommend any tab sites, as I haven't gone and researched any of them to check for accuracy or anything. But I can say that the Chimaira guitar tab book volume 1 is available on amazon, and it's got good tabs. The other thing I can say is that dudes in my Patreon Community have been making rad Chimaira and Elite tabs for everyone there to enjoy. You're obviously welcome to come on board and check it out! @@BeardyGit89 those are the same tabs I've used for years and they are wrong. Same with Songsterr. One thing that I notice right off is on the last progression he starts with an open G which I find helps give you time to move up to the 14th fret. Or, most of the tabs show it continuing up the 5th which is how I played it but it never sounded right.
Rob, I was re-watching Resurrection and Mark was talking about how he always wanted be signed to RoadRunner. Then BOOM, he went from playing clubs to joining up with you guys and you're signed to R.R. and you guys were what we normal people know as Chimaira. My question is.. How did that all even happen? It seems like there's a huge Gap between being a normal local band playing bars n clubs to an international touring band, managers, studios etc.. could you fill the gap?

Hey Rob could you please please do a quick riffs for the clean pre solo section of six? There's absolutely no accurate tabs of that section. They don't even get close. I also asked if you would do the verse of year of the snake but I was able to figure that one out by ear.
