Single flight mission to survey the Lugar Valley, an alpine area in Slovenia, with two distinct mountain ranges. 0:00 Mountain no. 1 5:50 Mountain no. 2 (My favorite part)
Bravo!!! Superb showcase for LR FPV mountains surfing with really cool/chill music background - where did you source it if I may ask? I also really like your subtitled flight narration, which really reflects all the details LR FPV mountains surfing pilot need to tackle during flight, because more often than not, retrieval of lost drone is not an option in the mountains.
file.io/48r4adBHSOOU Here's the link to a bunch of tunes, including the ones from this video. Not totally sure if all the others are copyright-free, but I'm leaning towards yes. Thanks for the comment, glad you're digging it - I usually jot down some thoughts before, during, and after flights, and I hope it resonates with someone out there. Take care bro!
Fabulous images, the landscape is splendid and details well rendered. For the GPS, you would have to connect its power supply to a 5V coming from the USB so you can acquire it quietly by connecting a powerbank without heating up the other components (vtx). You have to find the pad using a multimeter and resolder the +5V of the GPS. Excellent video editing, simple and attractive. I love using JMJ's songs :-D keep it up !
@rombarth5496 - Thanks for the tip, man, really appreciate it. Mind giving me a bit more detail on that? Does it involve any soldering? P.S. JMJ is one of my all-time favorite composers! Here's a link to some tunes, including the two from this video. Not sure about the copyright situation for the other songs, you might wanna double-check --> file.io/48r4adBHSOOU
Thank you, friend, it's nice to hear that! I'm sending you a link to a picture of the drone, there you can see how the antenna is positioned ---> ibb.co/m0GR1qD
This is the original setup from iFlight, I didn't build the drone myself. I'm about to order the ELRS diversity receiver (iFlight) soon. What drone do you have, my friend?
A single antenna will always be an issue when doing longer-range. No matter where you place the antenna at some point the quad/battery will block the signal. The best option is to run Diversity and mount the two antennas perpendicular to each other. CRSF Diversity RXs aren’t cheap, about $70 I think… that’s why I switched to ELRS. You can get an ELRS module, True Diversity RX and RadioMaster antennas, all for under $80. I currently run ELRS Gemini which is amazing, I made a test video demonstrating that, but basically it maintains 100% LQ even out 7km with only 100mW. My main point here is you need two antennas for long range quads.
