An escaped male chimpanzee was captured by city officials after falling off an electricity pole in northern Japan on Thursday.
The chimpanzee escaped from the Yagiyama Zoological Park in Sendai city, Miyagi Prefecture, in the early afternoon, according to city officials.
The chimpanzee was on the loose for over an hour before climbing an electricity pole, where officials shot the simian with a sedative.

This happened to me. I had to attach a tool to an overhead crane. When I did, the tool's ring in my left hand, and the crane hook in my right, electricity grabbed me, and I could not let go of either items. All I could is watch my hand like this Chimp, and pray to God it would let go as I screamed as loud as I could. My hand slipped off the crane hook, and I'm still alive. God bless you, Chimp.

Watch rescues where they use catch blankets/sheets/ect to "catch" people and most times they either miss completely, miss half and always miss the head every time! If you look closely at 1:08 you can see him get a shock from grabbing a non-insulated portion of the wire. Most often, what kills is the fact that you can't let go (or it is hard to let go) when you get a shock, because the electric current causes your muscles to contract.
