Unfortunately it’s going to takes weeks before you stop feeling any pain. Make sure you get lymphatic massages at least 3x a week for 3 weeks max massages should be superficial and once your incision heals you can actually ice your chin for a couple of a min you’ll feel such a relief. Hope you heal soon.
I’m going in for one in two weeks. The doctor will usually tighten the skin for you as part of it. It’s called a platysmal plication . Just thought I’d answer, since you were curious and no one else did!
@@Ren-er7fg thank you for asking! It went perfectly! I had to quit nicotine which has been difficult, but it was a very easy recovery. I’m still a bit swollen, that takes about 3-6 months to go down, but the bruising wasn’t very bad. The pain was worst on the 2-3 day. On about the 5th day I didn’t need pain meds anymore. Even with my current face, I’m VERY happy with my results. I’m so much more confident, and I can look at myself in the mirror again and put on makeup. I have a lot of hormone problems, that over time caused a significant fat deposit under my chin. It wasn’t extreme, but it was bad enough that I started to not recognize my face. Now, I have the face that I remember!!! ❤️❤️
That's not how liposuction works. Once you get the surgery, those fats cells are gone forever. The remaining fat cells can still enlarge but only if you put on more weight. Basically, if you stay the same weight that you were when you had the surgery, your face will remain skinny.
