China is focusing on developing China using the win win cooperation with countries around the world while US and the EU are trying hard to slow down the growth of China at any cost and of any country around the world.

Total bullshit. The CCP wants to expand its power by invading more countries like Taiwan and control the South China Sea.

win win co-operation where China wins twice.

The main point is that China gives the developing countries an alternative. These countries now have two sources of credit, trade, technology, industrial goods. China had already broken the monopoly of the West. There is no possibility of all these countries lining up with China. But China enables them a degree of freedom they did not have before.

Hope China starts caring about his own people as much so they stopped coming across our border. Shouldn't have to come to the United States to get a better life.

Imagine the African participation dialogue was the most constructive and informative, espousing China's vision for world cooperation and peace, especially in the abandoned Global South

Ms. Rolland is very worth listening to. And her African colleague as well. Thanks a lot. Ms. Rolland has a deep understanding of China, has a critical liberal European lense to it without going into china bashing as the American panelist does. The American guy just rejoices on the perspective of China loses and the US wins.

Find it odd calling Global South a creature. Is North America or EU a creature? Not sure the intention of using that term.

It would be good if China can accomplish the straightening of current " world order " which is basically dominated by hegemony ( MIGHT IS RIGHT ) . China has been striving to achieve superb strengths in the military , scientific and economic aspects ....
@brockabaddy985

Each time Schuman opens his mouth, he projects onto China what the western imperialists did to the rest of the world, which is to dominate. Rolland would be better off applying the zero sum mentality to the west, not China. The west, especially the Americans, desperately wants to hold on to the number one position, with an "if you're not with us, you're against us" outlook. China, on the other hand, has always advocated the win-win relationship. I gather that Bilahari is somewhat anti-China but not totally. But he's right, China will be sorely disappointed if she thinks that the global south countries will always stand by her side just because these countries have benefited economically from working with China. Every sovereign country naturally will work and take a position towards self benefit and not blindly support another country to their own detriment (except if one is a vassal state of the US).

When you are discussing about China and not getting someone from China to give their voices is already a big mistake and degrade the standard & value of this discussion significantly, worst still when nobody in this forum from China yet speaking on behalf of China & putting words into their mouths instead how arrogant & naive isn’t?

You like US democracy, where the masses don't want war but the military industrial complex overrules . Where a former president could invade the Capitol. What rule of law???

Having an economic implosion bigger than 1929 would certainly have an influence. The concept of GDP did not exist in 1929 but planned obsolescence had started and economists have been pretending that it hasn't existed for 60+ years. Of course they do not even talk about NDP.

The condescending tone when describing or talking about the "Global South"... wow Global order readjustment is not an exclusively China thing... Indonesia and ASEAN have been talking about this for quite sometime, far before the BRI...

China brings infrastructure and trade and non interference into countries internal affairs. USA brings military bases and blackmail i.e the Africa growth initiatives.

US can hold on to any country that wanted to join their system by having their loans tied up to IMF, world bank, Swift system. No escape from the it's claws, look well at the world carefully, your loyalty is imprisoned by their way of running the world. Look at freeze assets of Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya and other Latin American countries.
