Chinese coast guards were seen brandishing axes and knives in a skirmish with Philippine forces in a disputed area of the South China Sea. #China #Philippines #WSJ
Philippines shall take the full responsibility for what's happened in the South China Sea, it was so lucky that China's coast guards didn't use guns, missiles, bombs and stuff.
@@辛Mariothe cha bu duo ccp navy used it's most advanced and RELIABLE weapons, sticks and knives. They were going to use rocks too, but the resupply ship was running late due to technical issues at the rock factory.
Philippines military are battle-tested. China is not. What an exercise of restraint by the Philippine Navy, they could've wiped out the CCG in a flash.
Philippines tried so hard to maintain the peace. Maybe you should do your own research not some more talk or I can summary it to you. "On July 12, 2016, the arbitral tribunal adjudicating the Philippines' case against China in the South China Sea ruled overwhelmingly in favor of the Philippines, determining that major elements of China's claim-including its nine-dash line, recent land reclamation activities, and other activities in Philippine water" we are fighting the rights of our country what about yours?
@@until-w4m Um….yes? Considering the US and China locked in a trade war that China is losing terribly, the US can help or hurt anyone they please. And savage little China can do nothing about it
@@ctbossing5515 no need to use guns to scare off Philippine army... Filipino army member was well behaving after he heard the order "don't move" from Chinese police. I bet your media didn't show you full coverage... This is such an embarrassment for your Navy.
Brave? This kind of special forces' bravery of squatting down and holding their heads in surrender to the police, no army wants this shameful bravery. Isn't the army there to fight back in the face of such a situation? If you can only squat down and hold your head in surrender, don't come out and embarrass yourself.
In 2013, Filipino coastguards opened fire on a Taiwanese fisherman vessel and one fishermen killed. Facing a smaller country like Taiwan, Filipino coastguard got the guts to hunt and kill an unarmed fishing boat , now facing China?
Before the Philippines was established as a country, that piece of land belonged to China. That piece of land was a wasteland with no one living there. It was good enough that the Philippines was not included in China. Now that the country has been established, you can ask your ancestors about your territory and they will tell you.
The United States gives the Philippines a false impression that it will protect them. Triggering regional wars, Iraq and Ukraine are good examples. We hope that the Philippines and China can resolve the issue through negotiations.
we won the favor of many other countries on the international tribunal court many years ago. the modern world does not simply recognize any ancient Chinese routes of the sea. Control your government.
@@ddding9518don’t need. The video show nothing. Only the fool made crown of themselves to put on the act and suffer minor lost. No world leader will buy into all this and voice out as what Philippines want. Of course, Philippines leader might get some popularity leverage internally.
Amazingly, the ASEAN union is silent about these escalating events. No wonder the supposedly “Code of Conduct” is way delayed and somehow expected to be released/finalized in two years time. In essence, the ASEAN is saying to the bully that they have two years to grab land as much as they can!!!
Why blame it on ASEAN. When you act dumb, and want to drag the rest of your partners into your foolishness. Philippines should look inside between their leaderships from the past and now. Instead of keep on cry baby for the rest of ASEAN countries don’t join into their move.
Many ASEAN country have territorial dispute with Philiphine. Why should they help Philiphine to go against their own claim ? Philiphine is not a victim.
We advise Filipinos not to stir up trouble and recognize the fact that the South China Sea has been China’s inherent territory since ancient times. Chinese people never stir up trouble and are not afraid of it
lol, a lot of hypocrites here support Philippine, then in 1 second they turn around to support Israel's actrocity on innocent Palestine children. They are really creepy. I advice them to buy a big mirror.
The Chinese are very gentle, aren't they? The Philippines is a very small and weak country, but it has been able to conflict with China for so long. China must have exercised restraint. If it were the United States, the Philippines would already have 2-meter-high grave grass
@@LongMuyang-do5rsweapons? They have it but did they use it? Philippine forces are highly restrained compared to the unprofessional and barbaric chinese

Coast guard use knife and stick to control Philipine military special force seal team with machine guns who attempt to open fire & kill. Military is trained to kill in war while coast guard is trained to enforce law. It appears PH act of war to attempt to invade & killing ppl. Glad China coast guard is well train to stop & confiscate all PH weapons.

It was about to rain, so the U.S. military hurried home to collect their clothes and told the Philippines to fight to the last man, and then they would activate the Mutual Defense Treaty. However, the Philippine army was a coward and surrendered directly.
Think about it: the US can fight low-par enemies (Iraq, Afghan), but with near-par (Russia) or on-par (China) enemies, they must think thrice before escalation.

According to the 2016 Permanent Court of Arbitration ruling, the West Philippine Sea, including the Spratly Islands and Scarborough Shoal, is considered the Philippines’ exclusive economic zone on the basis of the International Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS). From a legal perspective, these territories belong to the Philippines.
The name West Philippine Sea only broke out in 2020 and 2022. It has always been the South China Sea. The local language version of the Philippines also has a corresponding name for the West Philippine Sea. I don’t believe that everyone in the Philippines uses English. If you don’t believe it, go search for dagat kanlurang pilipinas. I tried searching on June 7, 2024, and found a total of 85 messages. Throwing away the invalid and irrelevant ones, only about 30 are left. It is said that there is no so-called West Philippine Sea at all, and its title has always been the South China Sea.
They make their own law on the sea but they don't know if it's really their territory, they say china is the smartest country but they don't understand the laws and it's funny that you lack common sense. You are just destroying the marine resources. Owning the ocean which is not really theirs hahahahahaha
The United Nations also passed the two-state solution for Israel and Palestine. What happened? It was the five permanent members who proposed the establishment of the United Nations, not the United Nations who awarded the title to the five permanent members! Although it is very dangerous, the essence of European and American civilization is this: the one with the bigger fist has the final say! Unfortunately, China now has a bigger fist.
