China Creates 200 'Monsters' that Transform 100,000 Acres of Desert into Oasis Each Year Subscribe now: / @topwonders88 #TopWonders #chinatechnology #megaprojects #construction
Yea China would never impose their will on others countries what a commie comment. Totally delusional if you go t think China's trying to take over the world.
Due to 30% increase in the availability of atmospheric CO2, plants require 30% less water to trive. As a consequence deserts are shrinking and global vegetation has already increased some 30% in the last 50 years. China is doing the right thing, by capitalizing on CO2's excellent environmental benefits and literally terraform it's deserts. Congratulation from Australia.
They must diversify in what they plant otherwise the diverse birds and insects cannot benefit and monoculture can fail. By expanding the ecosystem life will return. I wish the Chinese good luck.
They are doing it. Previously overcutting of RED trees ie ROSEWOOD TREES, Xi's govt banned redwood exporting I think around 2008 period.. Planting trees had been since +75 years or so ago because of desert encroaching more in the north affecting even onto Beijing when sandstorm hits. Now Xinjiang is filled with agriculture oasis, best grapes I had was from Xinjiang when I was living in Shanghai from mid 2006-towards end 2012.
Impressive! I liked to see more details on the amount of the existing deserts and their prior and present growth rate and how the desertification works to transform the deserts into permanent green land.
God bless you China, I worked on a project to turn pulverised waste paper fibre mixed with seaweed for minerals, to mix into dry, arid soil for water retention round the plants root system, but although people looked at it, and liked it, it came to nothing!!! COVID shut down didn't help, but I'll keep at it!!! 💪💪💪💪💪💪😃👍.
Absolutely extraordinary technological advances thst Chins has innovated and mastered!!! It is awe inspiring to see the new capabilities they have developed, to halt the ongoing progression of desertification! This will have positive benefits for the world as a whole. I hope more countries are able and willing to adopt such incredibly effective technologies. The Chinese have pioneered some advanced systems that if implemented globally, could dramatically benefit humanity, and its ability to feed an ever increasing global population. The Chinese should be commended for innovating and developing such profoundly beneficial technologies. Thank you for sharing these incredible accomplishments of China with all of us!
Italy did the same, without mechanization, during the fascist era in Libya and Somalia, breaking dunes, planting grids of trees and bushes to stop the wind and sand, providing pits to collect rainwater for livestock. Our settlers had to wet every tree by bringing water with hard work. Results was impressive. But after World War II every achievement was thwarted because our colonies became independent.
What about the problem of more global warming ? Deserts reflect heat into space, Ground cover absorbs heat, so converting desert to "Oasis" results in warming
Ground absorbs heat, but this heat is turned into vegetations, fruits etc. Plants consume carbon dioxide plus sun light to make carbohydrates etc. Deserts reflect heat into space, if this heat is trapped in the space, we then have global warming.
b,b,but at the cost of depleting underground water systems and as the global climate worsen the available fresh water coming from the glaciers in the Tibetan plateau will be significantly reduced. They are adding salt to injury. This IS a FACT.
Mam 73 lata. W biednych krajach należy stworzyć takie warunki, aby biedni przestali by biednymi. Wtedy nie będzie chęci szukania lepszego bytu, bo wszędzie warunki bytowe będą zbliżone).
This boost of productiv machine productivforces makes China a fortrunner towards socialism, leaving US quickjy behind do to the US shortsighed profit system ".
@@Amna_work09 Themselves think it is ok to their ears. I basically off the volume and only watching the clip, as I already know the plantings since some 75 years ago.
China must finally get away from planting single species trees in straight lines. That's so anti-natural, it leads to a huge waste as most such trees quickly die again
They will. The first trees are to stabilize, provide a wind break and add organics to the soil. The next step is planting other vegetation after the first trees take hold. It's a step by step process that takes time.
Please provide spelling for the name of the equipment. I can't tell if you're saying Chemung, Jumang, or Xumang. I did Ag work (soil) with the Chinese in the mid 90s and love seeing this progress. Thank you...
