CHINA EASTERN AIRLINES: Is it as bad as I’ve heard? Shanghai to Los Angeles: business class review

I'm flying with them in December from London to Shanghai then onto Sydney, great review and given me a good insight to what to expect.

I'm excited to fly with them in December. Depending on that upcoming experience, I hope to fly with them to Japan for the olympics next year!

The worst part of the biz class seat is the low clearing leg/ knee room when in flat bed mode. My knees kept banging up against the casing. Felt kinda like a coffin. Preventing me from flying with them again just because of that reason.

Nice review. Honestly, depends on how you compare to other air lines and which classes. This is called business class, and not first class. Since China East didn't upgrade or make any changes to its classes yet, I think it is almost the same as Delta one years years ago, and much cheaper than Delta One years ago. of course, it is not even close to new delta one ( I think it is called delta suite). I think it is better than United Polaris years ago. The price is pretty good with China East though. although my favorite airline is Delta, and I have flew with many different airlines, business and economy, economy premium, first, I think China East is not as bad as what people said online, especially for the price. It is good deal for me.

Do those "Pajamas" have logos on them? If not u could totally wear them as a tracksuit if its comfy enough XD

I fly with them alot, but they never change there menu 😂, I been having the same food all the time in business class

I have flown on 777 back and forth from Boston to London for 6 months. The 777 was just fine.

They have EVA Air business class seats

I will take business class with this airlines on my next trip and I would say it’s much better with other business class I had before because this one has it own cubicle not like others they have partition .

The only thing wrong I saw was...the portion sizes of the business class meals seemed rather skimpy

This flight looks impressive. Well as I see, sometimes you get greats flights, and sometimes you get bad flights with China Eastern. I think their biggest problem is the inconsistency. And they surely need to improve that.
