Josh Roc007 Idiot this was the first release, its a Goddamn test weren't you paying attention you Fucking kid go back to school and learn how to read...
Alexandru Nan Ernest Second they showd that shit I was like you now how fucking expensive that shits gonna be?Trucks carrying cargo won't even be able to go through it.
well, for those who dont know, we chinese are the people who have invented paper, toilet paper, compass, gunpowder, printing, paper currency, seismograph, bronze ware, silk, dial, stirrup and anesthetic。 and more you know
how did they think that was a good idea? the bus would need to be going fast in order to make it an efficient form of transportation and it looks like nothing higher than an suv would fit under it, that thing would be a major road hazard traveling at anything over 20mph
China you had done a very innovative job. More work was required on it to overcome defaults left. Scrapping it was surely not the solution. The designers, engineers, architects deserved full praise for such an innovative work. Hats off to China for bringing before the world something beyond imagination. It was very artistically done. Still it can be very useful to some other sector, industry or at times of calamity like flooding. More study may be required.
How does this even work in the first place? How does it make turns? What the fuck happens if chinese "outstanding" drivers "accidentally" drive right into the tracks?
Hey kid this is not the time for your bullshit.. The bus only goes in a straight line And who the the fuck would drive into the tracks and FYI the tracks ain't placed on the streets... The tracks are placed in a tall wall which serves as the Tracks And this works so this can decrease Traffic jams due to Bus 🚌 so this isn't the place for your argument. They do this because they are rich and they have high-tech equipments...
deadfrontier240 I get my business information from western business journals. They actually have actual manufacturing statistics. You should try to read them because you sound like a dumbass who thinks he knows things of which he has not clue. I am not defending China here... I just found your little narrow mind amazingly ignorant. Love how generalize 1.4 billion people. I am sure you will go far in life with that mind set.
Thanks, CNN. I really need to know about the one failed project out of the thousands successful ones in China that you wont report. Thanks for the hard work.
Not CNN. Even RT has done a better job. One of the reliable source with no political motives is popular science/popular mechanics. They give purely technological/scientific based reports without all these bias bullshit.
Well, the media doesn't report the countries at war indeed. How much do you know about Syrian? Are you keeping count on how many country you are bombing at the moment? Besides, CNN has never reported a single positive news about China(totally nothing fishy about that).
I am surprised even RT has done better than CNN. Look at RT documentary. At least, they backed it up using data based facts and CNN has only been fear mongering Americans against China. Why do people who went to China think China is totally different from what the MSM tells them? Why has China never flaunted its military might despite being 3rd most powerful in the world and being called a threat to the USA? I feel sorry for you for believing in CNN. CNN indirectly gave you Trump by so obviously conspired against Senator Sanders. Maybe you are a Clinton supporter. In that case, I am sorry, I shouldn't have even argued with you. I am the loser for arguing with an idiot.
thunderfoot is not a mechanical engineer. If you get a mechanical engineer, he can re-design the tube sections so that they are sufficiently reinforced for earthquakes and collision. Of course reinforcing the tube becomes expensive, so the issue becomes a money issue and less of a technical issue.
it so mechanical engineers have exclusive rights on critiquing the hyper loop? that idea is even more unfeasible than this one, at least for this project they've created a working 1 to 1 prototype.
Lambert Lum he is a research engineer though, and the research is well done on the video. it doesnt seem cost efficient anyway or possible. Also you can be anything and have a discussion on whatever you want, you do not need the educational qualifications to talk about theoretical sciences or medicine.
according to china uncensored channel, the cost to operate that elevated bus are far more expensive compare to ticket cost, while increasing ticket price will make no one want to ride that bus (people gonna take a regular bus instead)
A. Ahmou elon musk first targets the elite, thus creating a brand image that focuses on elegance, and prosperity, Model s. Then the middle men , model x, then everyone else will follow the band wagon , model 3. Same thing with the hyper loop. First small extreemly luxurious pods , 30 min matter a lot to businesses men. Then the middle .....
Osama Bayyoumi But before, the technical aspect should be ironed out... For now, the performance's just highly below expectation. He should better focus his investment on his tunnels, Tesla and space X for that matter.
Osama Bayyoumi As I said the technical aspect should be ironed out, I have few doubts about the final results but It is quite feasible this is a secondary investment, the project itself was first designed on a speed test, not durability test (That's how the scholars who won actually won) in other words, it's the pod that has one of the smallest range but one of the highest initial acceleration and maximum speed. And the maximum speed it ever reached was noted in this article: www.theverge.com/2017/12/19/16795386/virgin-hyperloop-test-one-top-speed-airlock While the expectations are already known there is a small problem in creating a few hundred miles tubes, considering how expensive it was to set up a mere kilometer. Other than that, I feel like Elon has so much more to achieve and much more important than this project.
This would work better if the tracks were raised a little to add more height and when turning the tracjs should incline a little bit to go up and over the road below
Fairness to trying, many other countries would waste 20 years just arguing over the colour scheme and what was on the oversight panels lunch menu 🤷🏻♂️
Donnuts rsn To be honest, it's a way to give people jobs even if it is a waste of time and money. Communism does not have the same practical pressures placed upon a political system that requires efficiency and value for money/time.
Don't need to. Ride share is many times what it is in the West. So much that Shenzhen banned them from the beach. You have to park the bikes just outside.
Every time I see something futuristic like this that seems like it could change the world. It never ends up being used. Everything always goes right back to normal. People are trying too hard to make this world seem more futuristic than it actually is. But they don't realize, this is as futuristic as the world will ever get. Especially when it comes to robots. Lately all I see is people building robots and then it goes viral and everyone thinks "Wow within 10 years there's gonna be robots everywhere, soon we'll be living in a world like the jetsons" but that will never happen. There will never be a new major breakthrough in science, there will never be robots, or hovering vehicles, or colonies on mars, or virtual reality simulations. The most futuristic things we will ever see is a new iphone. Quit watching so much sci fi, and quit trying to imagine a world that's different in any way. This is it. The world is too poor, we're running out of resources and energy and soon, we'll be in the stone age again. Stupid humans.
Now Chinese will wait till Japanese or USA or Taiwan to come up with a similar futurist project.. Then Chinese will get thr hand on blue print and they'll copy it
