No, it's not disgusting. If they are monitored either way, it's not victimhood. What IS disgusting is the cat troture rings. But women CAN shield themselves so the compromising foto can not be taken.
Well maybe bad mouthing the CCP is done in public and the person doing it wants to be heard, and people kidnapping and abusing other people don’t want to be seen 😂😂😂
Yeah obviously they’ve obviously enjoyed pushing the human conversation into the gutter. Pretending they are in charge of anything is probably the most obvious offender.
On the one hand, you have this which is awful and terrible to helpless women. On the other hand, the US has PornHub and all the victimization and human trafficking that comes with that. They’re both awful
When citizens fight each other, they don't fight the government. This is why no government has any actual interest in stopping conflicts within society, as long as it does not affect the economy or themselves.
Because the government remains untouchable without popular realization and mass organization of the citizenry (which is exactly what security forces focus their efforts on). There’s a term for this phenomenon of peer groups subsequently turning their frustrations on each other: lateral violence.
This. This is why they love people's obsession with tik tok. Not just the data mining, but keeping people distracted with extremist views and infighting
This make me sick yo my stomach. Stalking is no joke, I've had freaks stalk me at work and follow me around and suddenly appear when I was on runs and it's horrible. It's NOT OKAY
Wtf. As a guy, it genuinely horrifies me how common is shit apparently is. When I was younger, I didn't necessarily not believe most women had to deal with it, I was just ignorant of the fact.. ignorant of the fact of how UNBELIEVABLY fucking common it is. Pretty much every woman I know, has dealt with some sort of sick crap like this. How the fuck do you guys deal with it? I guess you have to, huh? Ew, wtf..😡🤮 I genuinely can't imagine it, but it absolutely disgusts me. I can't even begin to wrap my mind around doing anything like that to a woman or using any disgusting apps like this... or really just any of that crap. How is there even a market for this shit? I'm so happy to be a guy sometimes. I'm a dude, and it makes me so fucking angry/ disgusted I genuinely start twitching. I can't imagine how you women feel, plus the fear, on top of all that..which I assume, is probably the worst part. I wish, as a guy, there was more I could do about it. I do know though, unlike many men, if I ever found out some dude friend of mine was pulling shit like this, it would certainly be the first time in my life where I threw hands and got violent. And honestly, I'd enjoy the ever-living shit out of it. I guess, as a guy, that's all we can really do about it, not condone that shit and do something about it if / when it's done around us. How its even a thing in the first place though, as I said, is so, so far beyond my comprehension.
@@ldawg7117 Well first you have to discount a large proportion of these claims, because every couple had to MEET at some point - and while liberals/leftists/feminists have no problem with a woman bouncing from shaft to shaft collecting sperm samples like demented bees gathering pollen from stamens - they then shame men for even "being in the same space too often" (or AT ALL) like all the gym-shaming videos by toxic 304s on tiktok, who wear skin tight cellophane AND video themselves in a public gym, then assume men looking at them thinking, "Ugh, toxic biatch..." are "stalking" them.
It's pitched as "Select a girl you don't know, map out her route, then go to her and tell her that you've been stalking her from an app taking pictures without her knowledge or consent, and this will get her to like you". I have the feeling there are guys who actually think this would work.
Yeah, the mind of a stalker is severely broken. They seem to have an outlandish idea that if you show a girl how obsessed you are with them, that's somehow endearing.
it seems WILDLY short sighted to not care about horribly social problems like this. they use the "Picking quarrels and provoking trouble" laws to crack down on people all the time. their main fear is a large public uprising, and protecting people who are being abused would diffuse anger and make the government look good. the cost is so low (delete exploitative and scary apps) for very high value (keeping population behaving)
@@Hay_BayI'm sure predators would love for innocent men to take the fall it'll also make their misdeeds easier to get away with soooo... is that what you want? genuinely asking lul
I have noticed this app.. I warned my wife about it, and to be aware of her surroundings at all times. Even tho we're in HK the guys here are starting to become more and more mainland like. I call this China's incel app.
I would think since there is a shortage of women they would be more honored and protected by men. This is so insulting its no surprise they aren't wanting to marry.
You do know why there is such a disparity between the number of men and women in China? It's because female infanticide and abortion is, or was, rampant in China. That's how much they respect women. Baby boys are/were preferred over baby girls. Maybe times have changed, but I doubt it.
It seems that the shortage of women produce the opposite: males who haven't had the opportunity to interact much with women will be more likely to dehumanize them in such ways.
China is not a country that worries about the impact of its actions. Nobody cares about what they do today causing damage tomorrow. This is a human trait everywhere, to be sure. But it's more overt in China. They would drive women to extinction because they want to, even if that would wipe out the next generation of citizens. They don't care. It will be someone else's problem, tomorrow.
There's a lot of reasons why Chinese society isn't set to take over the world anytime soon. Their poor treatment of women, especially attractive women, is one such example. There's a reason more egalitarian monogamous societies now dominate the world, they tend to outperform less egalitarian societies over many years.
Don't give them ideas, all that law is good for in China is to use them as an excuse to arrest opposition, don't think it would be beyond them to make it illegal and then fill their critics' phones with illegal videos just to arrest them.
The days of Chairman Mao are looking really really good now. The failures of the Great Leap Forward were only material failures. The population still had faith in Mao and the public art was always upbeat and of high moral quality.
tourism is still a thing, don't be bias, you should go and visit, I know I will, still, even during xipapa rulling, but I equally agree with laowai and serpantza points of view on ccp. Remember they lived there for over 10 years and the love the country, just can't live there anymore due to ccp
I must say some of the things they say are a bit exaggerated. I went to china a few times and never saw any of what they say happen. I promise you when go to china you will forget about whatever problems western media tries to convey and enjoy its culture and the vibes.
I'm thinking deeper about it - this is yet another consequence of a low trust society. People have such little confidence on one another that they feel the need to carefully evaluate a romantic partner not to get scammed, to downright creepy levels. Note that they specifically advertise it to divorced men - how many of these men come out of abusive, or even scam relationships?
I feel it is more a symptom of the chronically online men we have globally now, more so in China. Men lack so much confidence now they refuse to talk to a women unless they can "guarantee" it will go exactly as planned, so they resort to these stalking apps to feel they cannot get anything wrong when talking to them. In the pre-online days, and with normal men today, you just talk to a woman, then if you had nothing in common, move on.
The days of Chairman Mao are looking really really good now. The failures of the Great Leap Forward were only material failures. The population still had faith in Mao and the public art was always upbeat and of high moral quality. I have no doubt that many marriages were arranged back then and that removed a lot of dysfunction caused by having to find one's mate in the wild.
You didn't get the point of the video. That is not an app for helping deceived men to find love again, that is an app for rap*sts and people who have bad intentions toward women lie stalkers. I am sure that this application will unfortunately increase the number of sexual assaults committed by men against women.Tell yourself that if this application exists for women, it also exists for men who are looking for men, and for pedophiles who are looking for children. Imagine how many children will cross paths with pedophiles thanks to these applications.
Being scumbag is just funnier, look at west, Bezos, Musk, Gates all have means to make world better all choose to be absolute dickheads instead because it's just much more fun... That's just reality, then there is forbidden fruit factor etc.
People have been doing this with tinder profiles for YEARS! About three years ago I literally saw two guy sell each other different women's profiles to each other.
probably easier for those women to flood that marketplace with AI generated content and make it kinda unusable or at least make real girls harder to find. Same with revenge porn, in the near future people can just say something is fake and the novelty quickly wares off. I guess that's one of the advantages of AI, although I tend to be more pessimistic about the effects it can create overall.
700 million?! I did a research paper for college back in 2010 about China's then-blossoming surveillance apparatus and they were only at around 85 million. 700 million is insane.
Government would as such want these so called randomized meeting opportunitys to work bringing couples together, in hopes of them having children and they need a baby boom desperately.
@@MrTynanDraper kinda ironic for perhaps the most horniest people I've got the pleasure of knowing.... My Korean friends over on discord is literally like this everyday
When phones first got cameras, there was a commercial that showed a (young attractive) man using his phone to take a picture of a pretty woman who happened to be walking by.
A bit different.. A single photo only on your phone is very different.. It allways when things are taken to far like being followed, multiple photos, selling photos etc...
@@zakofrxThey’re speaking on the intent of the original design and application, taking pictures for memory sake. Todays phones and it’s usage have changed the intent is evil to spy on women nothing new.
? how so, its the complete opposite? if you got tons of men in one area with not much females then they either mostly turn out gay or strongly desiring the other sex, with some choosing not to do anything, hormones do exist ya know.
@@lokilaufeyson7035 after reading your comment perhaps woman would have been a better word but then i thought that with how sexist and stuff china is they probs wouldnt go for trans people and then how you get men saying they are women and stuff, i feel like female is still a more accurate word as i have not heard any men or of any men say they are a female
Just watched the death vans video, and now this. Utterly devious on the part of the perpetrators, and despicable on part of their government. Good points made about the implications btw.
My shopping habits radically changed when I saw the death van video... I'm just done supporting a party that's disappearing people like that, my standard of living isn't that important to me.
The days of Chairman Mao are looking really really good now. The failures of the Great Leap Forward were only material failures. The population still had faith in Mao and the public art was always upbeat and of high moral quality.
I thought women were suppose to get married and have kids. Why would women want to even date when the guy was just using these sites??? Trust and security are very... important to a relationship. This takes away all of that
Wow this should absolutely be internationally illegal and punishable. Holy F. Just having the app should give someone a deep sense of guilt and shame. This is beyond terrible
Now this is a troubling and disturbing thought. Once this particular trend evolves, the next iteration would probably be so-called bodyguards making sure that their charges are physically safe(-er) while also providing even more photos to those apps. Really, really, REALLY hope this doesn’t happen.
The Concrete Confessional blog guy has some insane stories about being an educational consultant for the children of China's elite politicians / businesspeople/ celebrities. The first part is called "I Was Simon Song," I think, and Vice did a feature on it. It's def worth checking out. He was in Shenzhen during the COVID lockdowns, the A4 protests, and the pro-democracy riots in Hong Kong, as well.
I'm so happy to be as anti technology as I am. My cellphone is 6yrs old, only use 3 mainstream media(FB, X, YT). As a survivor of human trafficking and rape knowing these platforms exist made me physically ill and caused me to have a real CPTSD episode. How beyond sick and vile!
So if you see a Chinese in your country and they are pointing at ladies with their phone, they might be filming for that app. What will happen is that some boyfriend will smash them or their phone, and people will be extremely paranoid when they see a Chinese or others pointing around at ladies with a phone. It's a sick world we live in 😒
In Poland here, there was a different drama with a phone spying system called Pegasus. Essentially politics could listen to practically everyone through their phone speakers. They covered their asses behind "ya know it's just for safety, we need to know if someone is a terrorist or other dangerous individual blah blah blah" stuff. Obviously I'm not quoting anyone here, but You get the point. Now that the fact of such yech being in active use came out, everyone in the politics and journalists fight for the official list of people who were spyed on through this tech to come out, but so far it didn't... Obviously it wastn't to sexualise anyone, or allow citizens to stalk innocent women around, but the impication of Your gov listening to everything is said in Your house and among Your friends just to determine if You are not a danger to society is disgusting enough. I hope this particular Chinese trend will never get to Europe, even though I have a feeling that for certain people, the forbidden fruit, no matter how rotten, tastes the best :-( It's good that these people speak up about this. The more people know, the better they can protect themselves, even if in limited ammount :-( Thank You for this video.
Thats very concerning. Always when you think it can't get worse, it gets worse. I think social media on its own is one big advertisement for attracting wrong attention.
Its scary for the reason that its helping them be a stalker and disrespecting someones privacy and safety and that its ok to do so while getting paid for it/rewarded. It also is scary for the fact others outside of the country might try and copy this or someone travelling from that country to do the same in another country.
What's even funnier is how they also falsely accused a man for "snapping pictures" with the two metal trim pieces on his shoes on the subway. They (illegally) detained and searched him, and with no evidence still charged him. Poor dude is still tryna beat his case two years later, then you see sht like this just casually sneaking under the radar. Almost as if some are being protected, some are just set up to take the blame?
At least you can’t blame the CCP for this! Apart from the fact that they are not doing anything about it. But it is another example of a degraded society.
I assume that the discussion by the CCP is that these apps help keep the disproportionate amount of young males China has focused on something else besides regime change...
Reminds me of those "Spy Tech" toys that came out for kids back in the early 90s. Does anybody remember those weird and creepy Spy Tech commercials of kids following an older man in an office suit?
@@s.franco5744Ig they’re referring to cartels and corrupt politicians? Anyways that comment was totally relevant. Ignoring it will just make the problem worse. It’s also the next step for the US ilo
Sad for the women in particular. Years ago I was on an Asian dating app. Mostly Chinese women wanting a way out but, mostly they stressed that they didn't like Chinese men. I can now empathize
