Brilliant! We are always looking for some unique and “off-the-beaten-path” adventures! I wonder if we can convince Miu to try the hanging highway in our next roadtrip 😅😅 Thanks for sharing!❤
Breath-taking scenery all round. The Cliff Edge village is particularly interesting for me as it’s one of China’s poverty alleviation projects. Not only were people in the village relocated but the arduous journey up and down the village is being preserved as a tourist attraction. That’s what I call a win-win project!!
The top two places look amazing! I thought the shots of the grassy plains in Stuart's Inner Mongolia video series were gorgeous, and the Tibetan lake in this video easily rivals those plains in regards to natural beauty! I wonder how amazing that lake is during sunset and at nighttime~ Especially being so high up and in so protected and well-maintained a place, the night sky should be crystal clear and spectacularly reflected in the water surface!
China is truly the master of hidden gems in the mother nature. I am surprised though that through previous wars long ago, the lands were still intact. For your next video, can you make a video about transit layovers in Chinese airports?
China is massive! and varied terrain! Not even wars can penetrate and go up down all of China! Just ask the Japanese and why they were stuck in China going nowhere! Despite bragging about taking China in about a few weeks to a few months! Remind anyone of anything currently! From mountainous regions to desert and snow regions! Not even a modern military army is well prepared enough for China BUUUUT I dont want to spoil Stus comments section! I Love Stus! channel! I love the levity! I love the light hearted but respectful and informative info Stu delivers! Stus channel is a celebration and education of China! I also love that Stus a brit! im a brit but Chinese! He knows more Chinese than me! im sort of proud as well as ashamed... because ive never set foot in mainland China not even Shenzhen apart from HK.... im hoping to change that!!
@@TravelinChina Dude so many many MANY more places that are secret sort of that the rest of the West dont know about! You could do another 10 more videos im sure! Well im thinking of the cant remember the name "Rainbow Mountains"!? is it called that??? Blew my mind when i found out it was in China.... multicoloured sand or rocks or just mountain! Heck Avatar mountain i was going to say but EVERYone knows that now but what about "Heavens Gate" ?? pretty sure people know of that place too due to crazy records like driving up it or sky diving wingsuiting through it!!!! But i still reckon people dont know about it! what about the village in a cave hole or in a vertical well!!!! i also dont know how tourism friendly these places are maybe its not opened to the public as these are peoples homes as well!.....
Lmao Enshi Grand Canyon😂😂 Last time when I went there with my then-fiancée now-my-wife, there was a pillar broke and stones fell off killed some tourists, by the time we got there one day later, the whole geo-park was shut down for safety inspection. So we never got to see what’s inside 😢😢
Hi Stuart, Since you have reaced an altitiude of 5000 meters, 8000 meters is not far beyond. Would it be possbile that you make a episode about China's top mountains? I know, it was me that has a weird sence of height pride. 😅
Regarding the hanging highway. What happens when you encounter another car going the other way. The road doesn’t seem wide enough for two cars to pass each other
