The most beautiful place in West Lake is on the west side of West Lake. This is the place in the video, called Turtle Pond, Maojiabu. Few outsiders go there. It is a private garden for Hangzhou citizens. It is best to go there in the morning. West Lake on a rainy day is more beautiful than on a sunny day, and West Lake on a snowy day is more beautiful than on a rainy day. Ordinary people only walk around West Lake once when they visit West Lake. If you can take a boat tour like in this video, you can really appreciate the beauty of West Lake. If you go west of West Lake and visit Lingyin Temple, Taoguang Temple, Yongfu Temple, Faxi Temple and Huiyin Temple, you can appreciate the beauty of the classical southeastern Buddhist country in the Wuyue period. If you can go to North Peak and South peek or Yuhuang Mountain, you can overlook West Lake and Qiantang River from a higher angle. Every season has its beauty when visiting West Lake, and you can come to travel to West Lake at any time.
