Perth is a wonderful place to make Port. I completed 2 WestPacs when I was in the Marine Corps. What the Navy and Corps is tasked with in the SCS is very dangerous and hard duty. I ask everyone to pray for them. Our Marines and Sailors need your prayers and support.

I look at that Chinese aircraft carrier and all I see is an underwater fish house waiting to happen

When the bases (Clark AirBase and Subic) closed down, I was surprised and also saddened. Now that they are back, I am glad. I hope that the Filipinos who were against having American Bases before now realized that they are an additional security not only to the Phil. But the whole SE Asia.

as a Filipino Citizen I hereby agree and give you full authority or whatever you wish that you can use and stay at the Subic port former Subic US base...by virtue of the power vested by the Phil Government covered by EDCA (enhance defense cooperation agreement ...)

During my 20+ years in the Navy, I served as enlisted for 10 years and the remaining years as an officer. I did two tours on aircraft carriers and one on a Battleship. A carrier is an entire city itself with capabilities unmatched by any foreign carriers. The job of the Navy is to keep sea lanes free for all to safely sail. I made 12 deployments during my career and have seen first hand what Americas ships can do. One carrier can easily destroy a small country in short order. Our Navy is the worlds best. But, our countries downfall right now is our national security mostly due to the open southern border. Many Chinese CCP members have walked into our country freely. There are actually police departments that have CCP members in them spying, targeting, and harassing Chinese ppl who came to the U.S. that do not support the CCP. This is a proven fact. Our enemies are strategically attacking us from within which is an excellent military strategy. We need to tighten up on who comes into our country and it must start with a secure border.

"purely for defensive purposes..."..... good, this is a classic military lesson for the world to understand that we can deploy aircraft carrier for defensive purposes as well.

No we're not trying to escalate the situation look here's 2 carriers at sea without a single tug boat in sight this is how we roll...
