The country shape used for the flag of the US at 3:48 looks suspiciously like China.

That's US, I took that graphic from Canva.

The US didn't just get lucky and make top level destroyers, aircraft carriers or any other type of highly complicated equipment and machinery on our very first attempt. We made PLENTY of mistakes along the way and learned and improved from those mistakes. I find it VERY unlikely that China is going to "get it right" so quickly in their initial attempts at making these ships. China struggles to make medium-complexity items like automobiles and other consumer-level items. The US withholding certain items and tech clearly has a big impact on China's ability to make these items............how could anyone reasonably expect that China can make high-tech naval vessels that are the equivalent of what the US produces?

I agree with your opinion, clearly the USA is very experienced in this matter. However, if we look at one example of the process where China initially made aircraft carriers, where it bought a former Russian aircraft carrier, then repaired it, then "Liaoning" was born, after that it made its own with various improved technologies and then "Shandong" was born. , and the process was so fast. If the question is whether China is doing it "right" to be able to build ships so fast, I don't know. But it will be very interesting if China has officially released the capability of their third aircraft carrier "Fujian". 😀

@@skysea77 "FAST" is rarely better. Shortcuts usually results in compromised quality.........China/the CCP has shown this MANY times in their non-military, civilian infrastructure projects; they are INFAMOUS for their "tofu dreg" construction. Their electric automobiles have shown to be well below the quality of Tesla, Hyundai, Nissan and Ford. Not to mention the known shortcuts they've taken on major projects like dams, bridges and water and drainage systems. Even the projects they've done for other countries as part of their Belt & Road Initiative have shown MANY issues with the quality of their work. Based on those issues..........why would ANYONE that thinks logically assume that their military projects would be of higher quality? The more rational assumption would be.......the opposite. You bring up the Fujian; that's a good example. While China/the CCP desperately wants the world to believe that they are "equal to or better" than the US, they go out of their way to HIDE important details about the Fujian. They claim that it has the same type of catapult system as the GRF of the US Navy......yet, any picture you see of it, they conceal the entirety of the catapult system. Why? Do they think the US is going to steal their "high tech system". LOL At least they are not pretending that the Fujian is nuclear........as any TRUE blue water, world-capable and future-tech ready supercarrier should be.

@@skysea77China has 3 aircraft carriers, two is a prototype for their engineers and one is the actual aircraft carrier! And all three of them are clones of the vayag! 😂 so technically china only has one aircraft carrier.

@quasimotto8653 I also doubt some things for "fujian". Until I saw for myself some of the technology they claim. 😅 Maybe in some fields they look like "newbies", but if you look fairly at their ability to "copy" & "modify" in various other fields so as to produce goods more quickly, they should also be appreciated, including in the naval industry. Even if you think that way usually produces goods that are not of very good quality. Btw, thanks for commenting and providing some interesting opinions. 🙂

@@bonkersblock Hahaha, in their official release, they will make 6 aircraft carriers until 2035. So we just have to wait for the 4th, 5th and 6th aircraft carriers. 😁
