Yet the beach incident wasn’t Ukraine’s fault. And the shelling of civilians in Donbas never happened. And they certainly had nothing to do with the terrorist attack on the theatre. Are you starting to see how absurd you all are? Doubtful.
Remember the Russian missile attack on maternity hospital in Mariupol? Published: 08 December 2023 therefore by the end of 2023 there were 334 documented attacks on 267 Ukrainian healthcare facilities, with 230 facilities being damaged and 37 destroyed. General hospitals, primary care clinics, emergency departments and children’s hospitals were most frequently targeted. The majority of attacks took place during the first three months and in eastern Ukrainian oblasts. Heavy weaponry was employed in almost all attacks.
Of course it was. But according to Russia, everything in Ukraine gets hit by Ukrainian armaments and everything in Russia gets hit by debris from intercepted Ukrainian armaments. All lies of course. Russia is a truly pathetic country. They've lied so much that no one will ever believe anything coming out of that terrorist state.
@@des_smith7658 America saved Russia 3 times from extinction (WW1, WW2, 1990’s) but you keep blaming America for muscovite horrible roads, crumbling infrastructure, poverty, alcoholism, and all your other failures. Keep blaming America, serf.

The day of the strike was also a national Child's Day in Ukraine and Russia. This attack ordered on such a day is a sign of malicious and deliberate cruelty of Pukin. They also attacked the in-vitro clinic not far from the hospital. Pure evil on behalf of Pukin
Who pays for this channel? Its clearly very biased. America is also threatening China, they cannot afford a weak Russia right now. In the very long term sure they'd love a weak Russia, but any Chinese government that is leaving Taiwan mostly independent clearly isn't confident in its powers. People don't realize that even if China threw out the communists and had a democracy they'd still want that island for a ton of reasons.
The only thing that gets him in trouble is when he talks military strategy when his team doesn't have anyone with military experience. Otherwise, very informed and data driven
Exactly the comment I was afraid of, he’s dangerous but definitely a good weapon to have in a democracy, it’s half truths that create another reality it’s impressive to watch nonetheless the consistencies and the reaction it gives is very clever indeed
It was a senseless attempt by the US to damage Russia. Completely predictable and completely avoidable. Russia raised its security concerns about US military expansion for 30 years (NATO) prior to this event. Russia was completely ignored.. the US engineered coup in 2014 was the straw..
@@kevinrobb86 And there is a legal way of pursuing Irish reunification. All Russia and China can do is resort to threats and accusations of "foreign interference" in order to maintain control.
Russia's history of attacking civilian targets doesn't leave much room for mystery. There's no question in my mind that the children's hospital was the intended target of the attack.
@@cwpv2477 Video evidence shows the missile was undamaged before hitting the target. What air defense systems can deflect a missile in high-speed flight without damaging it ? 😂
As usual with times. Excellent video and informative and reporting. What Russia did to this children Hospital is quite disturbing and Disgusting. What goes around comes around. Keep up the great videos and reporting
🇨🇳 knows 🇷🇺 still holding their stolen land, wouldn’t be surprised if the opportunity comes and they take it 😂😂😂 no limit friendship is only a political show
Wasn't the the land north of the Amur lost around 1858 - 1860 and a treaty later signed? PR China retakes that land, maybe stretches a bit to include Sakhalin, Putin says "we have a treaty", and Xi responds, "and Ukraine had the Budapest Memorandum of 1994".
This is the same guy that just said “Putin can’t do much”. Its these underestimations that will start world war 3. RU-vid “Scott Ritter” and watch someone that knows the reality of the situation not the propoganda the mainstream media wants you to believe.
I can’t people believe this? The media believes if they repeat a lie enough times it will become true. Xi and Putin despise the west so the enemy of my enemy is my friend. CCP was patient for 40 years and now sees the US as weak so they are emerging. We may not like it but the world order is in the process of changing.

You are so right, these are American trained and fed warpigs that deliver propaganda precisely targeting the dumbest of people. Even I am impressed like many others 😊
This interview with George Barros is definitely one of the best I have seen on Times Radio, and hope to see more with this eloquent, knowledgeable and impressive gentleman.
You need to stop watching this propaganda channel for the CIA/MI6/NATO military industrial complex and start listening to prof Jeffery Sachs, John Mearsheimer and realise that we’re in a Third World War and most likely heading for nuclear annihilation.
If North Korea sends military of any kind, then the door is opened for any other country to do the same, stop the hand wringing and help Ukraine with the defensive manpower it needs!!!
George Barrios is a rare expert who is able to present his arguments clearly, succinctly and logically, being an extremely well informed and erudite interviewee. He presents facts clearly and in logical sequence - a pleasure to listen to someone who can structure a conversation and present an argument based on fact. Great to hear his point of view - with which I thoroughly agree.
@@georgek1234 I follow both since 2022. Jake has a great heart and covers up a lot of topics... S. Curtain interviews sometimes are too long, but sure he goes deep. TX 👍
There were no military targets nearby. There was a Georgian restaurant,a Chinese one, and the Finnish and South Korean embassys..Maybe they were the target?
George Barros is an excellent spokes person for The Institute for the study of war so it’s great that the Times sent one of their heavyweight reporters to ask him questions.
It is tempting to give approval to that scenario, but it reinforces what we are working against. whether it is Russia invading Ukraine, China invading Taiwan or Russia to take Siberia. Might can never make right if we want a civil world. The UN, for all of its dysfunction, was founded to try and avoid countries invading each other for gains or resolution. The world needs to act more like a dog or wolf pack. They will all turn on the disruptor to modify behavior and bring compliance and order.
Good luck with that. Either you can have a single world government, which will only be able to enforce it's rule until it collapses under its own complexity, or you have multiple sovereign governments which can argue for the interests of different peoples. Multiple governments is a much more stable system over the long-term, but comes at the cost of occasional warfare.
Interesting overview, with many tech details. Hopefully, the Senior policymakers will follow up with adequate moves to strengthen NATO and Ukraine (that accomplishes NATO’s main goal - protect from Russia)
Excellent interview. George Barros is well informed and he is frank with his remarks. This is my second time hearing him and he is one of the best on U Tube.
I'm fairly certain that Ukraine do not qualify for entry into NATO until their current war is resolved. I daresay this rule was so states that find themselves under attack cannot just decide then that they want to join, and this may play out in non-NATO countries like Moldova and Georgia in the future. Unfortunately so much of the western aid to Ukraine has been delayed by political self-interest and disagreement within the supporting nations, and many Ukrainians have perished as a result, and so much of their ability to fight Russia has already been lost. The west may be losing the opportunity to 'turn this around' if there are any further delays...
2 years ago, NOBODY was saying that we need to blow past these red lines and give Ukraine everything it needs. Now they want to act like since day one, they were for giving everything we could

I mean, I recall several people, myself inc., who said we should do a no fly zone from day 1, give Ukraine planes, tanks, everything, as soon as. 'Red lines' mean next to nothing. Tyrants lie. They manipulate. Putin is just playing from the book of the tyrannical dictator: oppress your people, frighten your neighbours - lest they get wise to your weakness and overthrow you. Unfortunately (esp. for conflicts where it's good v evil), the US has always been isolationist (I'm Australian fyi). Just think WWII, took 'em literally being bombed themselves to get their own troops involved, the people there are quite individualistic and thus can be self-interested, so it's America First once again for a good number of people. This is why I sometimes wish Britain still ruled the world, whilst imperialist defo has its downsides, it also means the populace cares more about international affairs.
I wish that the interview would have addressed the big issue in Russian - Chinese relations: the fact that China still has territorial claims on Russia.
@jackiemack8653 yeah. It's been like that since 2008 or so. Chechnya gets most funding out of all Russian provinces and that buys loyalty. Once money stop coming they will separate.
Ukraine should aspire to not only join NATO but to lead NATO because Ukraine knows what it is like to: be helpless, to be betrayed, to have its hands tied in a brutal battle. Long live Ukraine.
Well it is quite far from Ukraine to NATO in the way we can do combined warfare and air superiority. But NATO should learn every bit they can from the Ukrainian experiences. And long term Ukraine will be an excellent ally aligned with the democratic countries of Europe and North America. Protecting freedom and democracy will never be free, and the despots needs to be controlled and kept from agressive expansions and hybrid wars.
Maybe NATO should negotiate with xi to see what territory from Moscow's empire would he require in order to sell allowing Taiwan UN recognition to the Chinese
Not sure if serious but Taiwan is a part of the first island chain and as such is strategically very important since all the other islands in the chain are allied with the US
George Barros is such an amazing guest and a wealth of knowledge about every aspect of this conflict. I hope he returns, though there were some moments he fell in using "um" waaaay too much when he was thinking on the fly, but it just seemed to come and go. That was the only minor critique of an otherwise brilliant interview.
@@DistractedDaisy It's not, many speakers struggle with that and it's something most of us do without even knowing about it and someone needs to tell you about it so you can improve your public speaking abilities. If no one gives you constructive criticism, how can you improve?
China does not need Siberia, Russia will give away all resources anyway. China may take over the Russian far east lands, there is no need for Russia being able to have a Pacific fleet potentially bothering China.
More clickbait. Russia and China are allies. It is true that sometimes allies have disagreements, but that is nothing new. The Chinese and Russian friendship is strong and strategic for both sides.
If Biden won't step down and leave the campaign to a more capable candidate I think Trump is destined to win the election in November. All signs point to Trump being sympathetic to the Russians in general but I fail to see how targeting a children's hospital is persuasive to the leadership of other countries.
"Manchuria" was coined in the 19th century to refer to the northeastern part of the Qing Empire, the traditional homeland of the Manchu people. After the Amur Annexation by the Russian Empire, the ceded areas were known as "Outer Manchuria" or "Russian Manchuria".
