You’re assuming the buffet were to be empty on the flip side, it said restaurant staff was too busy to even pay attention, I doubt they were anywhere close to empty

Then they should pay double as 23usd per 2hrs. Since they stay for 4hrs then restaurant can ask them to pay 46usd per person .

I worked in buffet, we threw loads of stuff out every night.

I totally agree, if they eat everything and eat within the time limit, that’s perfectly ok. They went overtime and that’s the restaurant’s fault on not enforcing it. It is like going to a casino and win millions, casino has to pay out if he or she won fair and square.

Double pay still means the restaurant is not getting the money back 😂

Imagine you we're the one eating and you exceeded your time by 1 minute and the staff didn't inform you and went ahead and charge you double the price. Would you pay for it?

@@AaronLaikz of coz there is a grace period given.. But 4hours?? That is not a fair comparison to 1 min But honestly speaking, the buffet price and the varieties in there is freaking cheap... Therefore it is reasonable to pay double..

if there is time limitation for the customers, then the restaurant should have a system to remind the customers, not just ask the customers abide to requirement by themselves.

They did soemthing wrong, they only paid for 2hrs they know time is up, but workers dint come usher, so they stayed. And they dint intend to pay for the extra 2hrs that they stayed, so they have intention of cheating. It's extra 2hrs not 30min

No, it means that you're free to eat as much as you'd like, as long as there's food left. That is literally the purpose of this type of restaurant

Let me tell you... It's the Chinese's mentality of not wanting to suffer a loss and making the biggest proffit. So, the fee for this buffet is 23 USD so a chinese person will try to eat 2,300 USD worth of foods lol How can eat that much? They came prepared, maybe they skipped lunch, maybe they ate a diggestive pills, anyway they came with their best condition to eat lots of foods.

The staffs were so busy and only notice them untill the restaurant closed. If not closed, they will probably keep going slowly for more. i feel like the staffs probably got in troubles for that despite working very busy that night

It said 2 hours maximum and they stay till 4 hours. Regardless the staff didnt notice bout time consuming but as a customer its necessary to hv such an empathy to leave the restaurant, instead having more meal "more time" than they should. Its clearly mentioned in the video.

It's not possible they are not aware of the time limit as it state on the video that "they always go for buffet" that means they know the rules but ignoring it. and the time limit was 2 hours and they exceed it for like 4 hours? Clearly it was false action from the beginning.
