i have the same set up, it wont shift past second. the shift lever doesnt turn the star gear to go into 3rd or 4th. i found nothing in bottom of gearbox. are there three pins sticking out piece behind the star gear?

My son has a flywing mx100.ive done had to replace the motor 3times,heads 3 times.ive had the 4spd auto clutch,and just went thru 2 110 automatics.parts seem to be pretty cheap and plenty online.and good beginner bikes for him to learn to work on.lol
Hi. The bolt you put in @7:00 mine loose, and when I try to tighten it (turning clockwise) it will change the gear. Did I mess something up? Is it normal for this bolt to be loose and have a little oil coming from behind it?
T. Hunt same thing happen to me but it fell out while testing the new stator and I need to buy a new one, could u tell me wht the bolt is called or tell me where I can buy a new one at, plz and thx have a great day.🙂🙂 and also it leaks oil really really bad🙁
New to small engines, Time of 5:40 the bolt, what is the name of that. Was given a 90cc engine that wouldn't shift, after a break down I found that bolt was loose and when I tighten it doesn't seem to actually stay "tight" and goes back to the original problems of staying in 1st gear. Steven Hamilton It only can get loose if there's no pin under gear selector. Selector plate can move with the polt that holds it so this becomes loose. You shift into first gear that's fine but otherway into second it becomes loose and gear shaft with forks won't work.
I got a 300cc icebear zodiac trike.. I'm about to put it in Forward from out of Neutral I pulled to hard and now it wont go into forward neutral or reverse. Please help me what u think
hi there can you say why i have a tapping in the engine and the kick start will not work properly sounds like it is racking on the gear in side can not get my head around it ,but bike runs fine since i done the semi auto gears to the manual
+john doherty Hi John. Sounds like kick starter return spring missing or is on wrong place maybe starter sleeve isn't retained and rotates partly with starter shaft, so if engine starts up it can't disengage and makes noise.
Some say you got what you paid for. But I don`t wanna pay for rough cut valve seats and soft alloy. Also spear parts are not so easily available. I have done so many improvements on bike frame because things bend or just fall off. This is DIY bike.
Hi great videos, I have ducar dj 154fmi engine with 1 up three down gear shift pattern and I want to convert it to all 4 up gears shift pattern. Any idea? Ever done it? Would just shift drum, fork and retention lever swap do? Or is there any difference in gear cogs as well?
I have never done it but basically possible. It is all in shift drum decides which gear goes in when gear lever is pulled up or pushed down. No difference in gear cogs because these are your gear ratios these remain the same.

2nd gear in my nephews bike is shit, rattles when in 2nd. same engine, also semi auto. looking to replace trans gears and shift dogs. do you know where i can find some for it or know what ones will work for it

hello! i have different kind of kick start. and does engine turn both directions when twisting clutch? when twist other direction it clicks and other direction then it doest spin. kickstarts gear stops it
yes, the oil passage that comes from the clutch cover and pressure plate feeds oil into the spinning clutch which then sends the oil to the right side crankshaft bearing, in theory, if this clutch gasket looses oil u might get less oil on the crankshaft bearing.Sadly some gasket kits come without that gasket.
kkzxxx I have a gasket but it was so well glued on the clutch bearing cover and in pretty good shape too. I decided to use the old one. That's bad I didn't show this and some may understand there's no gasket at all. Actually it is part of oil centrifugal cleaning system.

I have a lifan with the 20mm countershaft and 17mm main 4 speed, tore 2 teeth off first gear, can not find this assembly anywhere in stock or under $1049.99u.s?? Could someone please point me in the right direction?
I am having a problem with this new piranha 140 with very low hours on it, the bike is stuck in I believe 3rd gear I can shift up one gear and down one gear but no further I took the motor apart all but splitting the case so I can see the shifting arm pushing and pulling that gear and the it gets a full quarter turn on the gears that work then when it gets to the problem it only go's half way and I cannot figure out why it's stuck, any ideas, maybe bent gear fork?
This is oil sump vent tube and comes from gearbox assembly where gears rotate and throw oil everywhere inside, causing oil mist or that kind. When there is PLENTY of exhaust gases escaped through piston rings these gases stream of gases will take some of engine oil with.

I like to buy gaskets and copper seal seems to work to from my atv silicone from factory leaks after awhile leaving the engine to fail without oil if not watched i have not changed to a gasket yet so i watch as close as i start it every day to find oil level has gone down about 2 weeks past leaving oil under it not much but enuff
