The Canadian Air Force traveled thousands of miles to investigate the surrounding areas of China and then claimed to have been threatened by the Chinese Air Force.
What took you so long? Especially when it's from Global News。 It keeps trying to brainwash us that what happened in HK back in 2019 was PEACEFUL. These guys live in a totally different world.
That Canadian military aircraft was there as part of an international effort to monitor and enforce international sanctions against North Korea, a country with a ill intentions against its neighbours South Korea and Japan and its actively seeking to develop nuclear weapons as well. It so happens that North Korea shares maritime and land border with China so that Canadian aircraft will inevitably have to venture close to China to do their jobs and fulfill Canada's obligations to the United Nations and also to its allies in the region plus they were in international airspace. Get all your facts straight first before you blindly assume things and engage in stupid conjecture and insinuations.
Try watching the video, they said they have every right to intercept but need to stop being aggressive, it is not China airspace but China has the right to investigate any threats.
@@shaun3495 so basically what you saying is Canada's obligation to fillful UN's mission to monitoring a nation which has nothing to with Canada, and have to get close to China's coastline is prior and more important than Chinese coastline defense? If North Korea is near Canada, and China is targeting North Korea by sentig aircrast near Canada and US coastline international airspace, what will US and Canada do?
making sure the chinese are making shoes properly and not have any defaults in the shoes, we WANT quality when china exports into canada. That's what those spy planes are for.
@@kaleeysmith8801 well what if chinese are making shoes not peroperly, what canada could do about it ? still having to buy everything from them since your stone age 3 wld can not make anything at home, and thats what china is doing, r ppp auuuff , especially to those country they look down on such as canada
The Canadian surveillance plane had entered the Chinese airspace over the Chinese territory Chiweiyu Islands 赤尾屿,geographical coordinates:25°55′21″N 124°33′36″E.
@@PpJjStock some people in the comments say how Canada is simply contributing to the NATO effort of defense, but... who is realistically gonna invade canada? the Chinese wont cuz its halfway across the ocean, the russians wont since its over freezing waters, and the europeans wont cuz they're too busy arguing with Zelensky over military aid. Realistically, the US is the only threat to canadian sovereignty, so why tf are their planes halfway across the ocean?
Google Translate:Don't play dumb. Why does the Chinese military join peacekeeping forces in African countries? Enforce UN resolutions, right? Similarly, Canada also implements United Nations resolutions imposing sanctions on North Korea. China voted in favor of the resolution to impose sanctions on North Korea. Now it is interfering with Canada's mandate to implement United Nations resolutions. China's actions are illegal and shameful.
Canadian flight flew over to Chinese airspace and complained they been treated too aggressively. How about Canadian flight stay in Canada and Chinese flight stay in China and you guy don’t interfere each other. You guys are in two different continents just you know.😅😅😅😅
So Canadian Air Force's surveillance aircraft flew 5,500 miles to the Chinese coastal waters with media and reporters to make a judgment call of unsafe and unprofessional aggressiveness. Why didn't you give the exact position of this Canadian aircraft? How close was it to Chinese territorial waters? Per the Maj-Gen, they have the right to intercept.
As an Canadian, Canadian Air Force should protect Canadian land and sky and ensure that Canadian are safe! If we would like to care others then Canadian Air Force should send the fight jet to the Middle East to protect the civilian there!
As a Canadian, I’m so frustrated by this mixed Canadian politeness and stupidness. The guy literally admits that the Chinese has right to intercept them and he expects they do it politely…😂😂 and What the hell are they doing over there? We ain’t take on China in anyway but why are we constantly getting intercepted near their airspace and waters?
unless you are willing to pay more taxes and defend our own borders without relying on our NATO allies, i think you as a fellow canadian should learn what responsibilities to your allies really mean.
@annoyed707 Canada doesn't need to be in any military ALLIANCES. Being in an alliance and dictating others how to live, we become a dictator nation in the world stage. And having the illusion that we have the right, because we are in an alliance, is a big mistake!
@@annoyed707 and make sure to take the journalists with them for all the contributions too lol. I actually want to know where exactly the incident happened, international air doesn't mean a lot.
"We are fling off their coast, they have the right to intercept." That's the conclusion, but why put this in the end of the vedio, and arguing china is aggressive.🤣
They don't need to get that close or set off flares, just observe and maintain their line in the sand about getting closer to China which is a valid maneuver. They are being aggressive.
@@terramarini6880 no, they intercept is because you fly too close to their border, ,idt, they have every right to do those, even fire, also no one sit there to let you spy , also who invade vietnam, iraq, syria, afganigstan, lybia,,,,,,, canada is all part of it, thats called agress
As a Chinese citizen, Canada permanent resident and employee of a US company, I would suggest both Chinese and American Air Forces guard Canadian borders together. So we can pay less taxes to defend Canada and no one on the earth ever dare to invade the land of Goose.
The question is: Why do we as humans always avoid addressing the causes but instead favor the one in power over the victim? Why are international laws not applied? Why does it only apply to certain countries and people? Isn't that called double standards and hypocrisy?
Why a canadian military purpose aircraft in entering other countries borderline? for what purpose to fly over thousand kilometer and came across with a country with no border with china? That is not protection of a counrty. That is the view point from polities
@@QIEN0MeiDid you not watch the video? To enforce a UN Sanctioned Embargo of North Korea. Plus they are in International Air Spcae. Are you a representative of the Chinese state? Troll?
What is a shame for Canada!!! So you flew closer or into other international airspace while it was suppose to be around our own coastlines, then saying that somebody else was a problem when Chinese military should be alert and defending itself.... I lost my mind!!!
@@David_Rafuse They are doing the intercept in accordance with good military flying practice. If you are afraid, then give them a wide berth. You can't have it both ways.
@@David_Rafuse Totally loved the 'fair play' on international airspace, look forward to more approaches from countries such as NK , Iran , and other uprising African and Middle East countries and etc doing flyover even on international water under 'freedom of navigation'. KIV your comment. Don't be a hypocrite later David. Cheers.
@@David_Rafuse no, they have their right to do whatever they need in international space, you can not pick on their pattern of interception, interception is not a dance with you
@@David_Rafuse Not saying that they didn't, it was international airspace, fair play, it's just that the Canadians were maneuvering in a very sketchy manner to them. Fair play.
It's very funny how can a Canadian plane approach Chinese territory, how would it feel if China were to do something similar to Canadian aircraft, think about it.🙄🙄
An interception is never meant to make you feel safe, its meant to drive you away. Stop being cry babies if you have the balls to bring a shotgun to my front yard, have to balls to not cry when I whip out my machine gun.
Same thing the Canadian pilot saying about the chinese aircraft coming close to his aircraft could be said about the canadian plane coming too close to the Chinese air space in a manner that made them feel unsafe and uncomfortable
Canada should not do this kind of propaganda, you are in another country’s sovereign space, stop following the u s warmonger’s futile war game actions.
That is far from the truth, we are not America yes no doubt but if you understand what NATO is you would know we have all the resources we will ever need.
First Russia, then India, now China …. that is already 3 billion population Justin and his government just wake up every morning wondering which part of the world haven’t start hating Canadians yet 😅
Coast of China................................................a stranger with binoculars circling your house ON THE PUBLIC SIDEWALK is just as disturbing, right?
@@annoyed707 You are the edge of civilization. Previously, due to American hegemony, wealth was in the United States. Now that China has risen and wealth has returned to the Asian continent, sooner or later you will be marginalized. You are a one-time civilization, China is an uninterrupted ancient civilization, and you are not in the same dimension as China
I would suggest our government buy some top fire fighter planes and put our army to fight and prevent fires in Canadian forests/ jungles. We have this issue growing every year and losing billions and getting air pollution. Instead, we spend money on our troops in East Europe to Russian borders and patrolling 10.000km away, Chinese coasts .
@the_Kurgan Wow! Didn't know RU-vid gave you permission to locate people's location... Think what you are talking about before calling someone "liar" Here is the main point is ideas , we are engaging in discussions, not trying to prove someone a liar. Or maybe you are from the "Kurgan" region of Russia.?! It'll explain something.
Canadians could really use some tax cuts. Sending war planes 8000 miles to China is not helping. If Canada can't say no to the Americans, at least get them to give Canada some real finical support.
Who else noticed that the Canadian aircraft was intercepted by a fighter jet trainer. The only variants of Chengdu J-10 that has two seats are the conversion trainers. So it’s either China saw the Canadian aircraft as an insignificant threat that the Chinese pilots can use to practice interceptions or China just doesn’t respect Canada to use one of its best platforms against
If authoritarian countries obeyed international law and didn’t bully & violate its smaller neighbours we wouldn’t have to display our force in support of our allies abroad 24/7 .
Can you bring up a world map and show where this interception took place? Just curious how close the Chinese jet came to entering Canadian airspace >_>
Canadians on the west coast always get China confused with vancouver haha. Cdn authorities are used to oppressing the yellow ppl. It's practice for when we lock them all up like we did to the japs last time.
what are you doing near Chinese coast ? What would happen if Chinese plane will start "ensuring peace" along the coast of BC? Taxpayers money spent on this type of idiotic adventures? Or is it a solemn contributions of all cabinet ministers who paid for this ?
Who are you quoting? It didn’t say “ensure peace” but “enforce sanctions”. There’s sanctions against North Korea based on human rights violations I imagine
Russians actually do it every now and then, the Chinese don't really have the long-range aerial refueling capability. They have the world's largest merchant shipping fleet so they generally use merchant and fishing vessels kitted out as electronic spy ships.
Please first clarify who is approaching and threatening other country's border, and who is defending and protecting its own national security. Thanks.🤣🤣🤣
You are Canadian, you just say Thank you and that's it. It is you who are unprofessional because you are far away from home interfering with other countries borders. If you poke the dragon, don't complain about the fire.
My son told me last night, for real. A naughty kid in his class was bored to do his assigned work, he kept trolling my boy, who is doing assignment. Its so annoyed that my boy have to push him away... Back and forth several times, my boy punched him after he put his hands on my boy's head. Class teacher stepped in let this boy out of classroom. I told my boy, you were doing all good, stay away from him. He should learnt a lesson this time, hopefully.
The reason for this aggressive intercept is unknown??? Do you guys want to show the world where the intercept happened? Was it ANYWHERE close to Canada?
The cold stare at 0:30, they damn well will pull the trigger with 0 hesitation if an order is given. Absolutely irresponsible for Canadian airforce to send a Canadian military aircraft with civilians onboard to play with fire.
If China was flying a surveillance plane off the US coast and saying they were just watching Mexico you can bet the US would send up a fighter or 2, It's called sending a message so stop crying around about it and take the hint.
