And I mean this nicely but unlike some polygot YTBers who just learn a few phrases then HEAVILY edit it to make it look like a conversation, you keep your shots and edits long and also show the words/phrases you aren't positive of instead of pretending you do. But you also do actually know the languages but I respect your edit and explaining if you said something wrong and also adding in some cultural important notes on the vids about why you or why someone said or did something in a certain way (like on this one the scroll regarding weather and temperatures of food/drinks & the cultural aspect for Chinese folks around it and how to avoid getting sick etc). It's easy for you to learn Cantonese since you are already fluent in Mandarin and Vietnamese(Northern). Cantonese is quite similar to Northern Vietnamese accent.

Hey Chris and Max. Welcome to NYC. What time was this? I was on the Main street and Kissena blvd around 4 pm 12/5....Be careful in this area, my wife got her cell phone stolen last year by a b guy. You can try some Vietnamsese food like Pho, cha gio, banh mi at Pho Bang Restaurant just around the corner of Main st and Kissena blvd. Take the subway to Rockefeller center (midtown). You will like it..lot of cool things to be seen on the Xmas season.

When I moved back to the States I used to substitute with peanut butter and it works rather well but eventually I found a store that sold sesame paste and black vinegar and it was off to the races.

I tried to take Spanish in school once but for some reason the teacher decided not to like me and basically bully me which gave the other students a thumbs up for doing it too. I passed but never went back and didn’t learn anything that stuck. It still hurts. And when did this start? She asked us to choose a Spanish name that we would be called during the class. I chose one that had Spanish history and meaning. I was instantly laughed at by all of them. Why? I still don’t know. I’m a goody goody and people pleaser so I have no clue what made her dislike me. I’d done it so I could speak to another culture and learn about it better. But it seems like people choose to dislike me even when I’ve been nothing but sweet. I guess it was more that they realized I’d take it rather than fight back. The only thing that stuck? Counting to 10.

I saw a video of a tour of France and saw a couple eating at a French Chinese Restaurant, very different from America. I guess the Chinese Restaurateur businessman learns to match their food to the population.
