3:50 the famous one is Lim Chee Guan, u should try it sometime. Their shop is in one of the lanes, there used to be hours of queues during Chinese New Year period.

Oh really! I always thought that Bee Cheng Hiang was the most popular as they have so many outlets in Singapore. I should try next time!

In 2024, a Year of the Dragon, Monkeys will have a smooth connection with Tai Sui (the god of age). This means that you will receive plentiful support and blessings. You will encounter unexpected delights and surprises in various aspects of your life. It will be a prosperous year, brimming with opportunities for you, Monkeys, especially in your career and financial fortune, where you will reap abundant rewards. However, it will be important to pay attention to your relationships and well-being. Lucky colors: blue, blue, white, purple Lucky numbers: 4, 9 Hope this helps 🤭

It’s rude to say Chinese New Year as you are not in China. You are in Singapore. The correct term is LUNAR new year, celebrated by a handful of countries in Asia.

It’s not rude to say CNY in Singapore 🤷‍♀️! Even though yes, Lunar New Year is also a correct term!

@@NewtoSingaporeyou are absolutely right. All my Sgrean friends call it Chinese New Year. Here in Canada, we also call it Chinese New Year. I really don't see what's so rude calling it Chinese New Year. Around the world, it's also called Chinese New Year.

The spring festival in Singapore is mostly influenced by the Chinese culture - especially the festivities I as at in this video, literally in Chinatown!

@@NewtoSingapore There are MORE THAN culture from China in Singapore. Chinese means from China. FYI there are other nationalities in Singapore like Korean, Vietnamese, Malaysian, Indonesian and Taiwanese who also celebrate Lunar New Year. So your channel name is NEW TO SINGAPORE and you are new, so I am telling you as someone born and bred.
