Overview of the most common models of Poly Tech Type 81 rifles in Canada. Special thanks to the individuals who gave permission to have their rifles featured in this video. Recorded in March 2024, Ontario Canada.
@@covert0overt_810If true that would be an interesting thing to hear about Canada having Yugo M76’s with Dragunov style of stocks on them but I doubt it only thing close to that is the Romanian PSL I’ll take this with a grain of salt.
Those chinese rifles are better and often cheaper than all those new fragile AR style sporting rifles on the market. Super easy to maintain they’ll never let you down when WK180s, Raven and others have crucial parts breaking.
Clearly you are talk allot of garbage nonsense because AR rifles aren't fragile the full auto versions are with militaries around the world. I also build and sell AR 15s and AR 10s and have owned these ARs before Bull Clinton was president.
You have your PUNK ass video war game brain brainwashed on total bull shit about AR rifles. There is nothing fragile on the AR or M-16 & M4. More countries police & military use the M-16 or M4 than just 55 countries' still using the AK. I am an American @ 64 years old who builds and sell AR 15s and AR 10s
You're going to have to make a new video with the two new Type 81M models that came out today! Great video though man, I can't wait till my rifle comes in to say the least.
I have the standard fixed stock Type 81 rifle and the blued LMG Type 81. The blued LMG is regarded as the best model regarding fit and finish. The LMG is my favorite. Great video!
I like the older version as the front site is closer to the gas block. .. would make it easier to chop of the extra few inches if the need ever arose in a zombie apocalypse. 😅
Just curious why you have trigger locks on the guns ? It's not legally required to have trigger locks on non restricted firearms while you're in possession of them in transport or at a range or on crown land shooting them.
@@rickrick70Not yet, they tried to amend C-21 to include the SKS and a few of these Chinese rifles but then someone reminded them they are the most popular gun on reservations and they changed their mind.
@@rickrick70 The official banned list is: M16, AR-10, AR-15 rifles and M4 carbine pattern firearms. Ruger Mini-14 rifle. M14 rifle. Vz58 rifle. Robinson Armament XCR rifle. CZ Scorpion EVO 3 carbine and pistol. Beretta CX4 Storm carbine. SIG Sauer SIG MCX and SIG Sauer SIG MPX carbine and pistol. You can still buy anything not specifically fitting that criteria but proposed amendments to C-21 would ban just about everything semi-auto including rim fire if they mange to get them past.
The Type 81 is that rifle that I always wanted.. but always knew I never really needed. When you own a Norinco SKS-D and SKS-M.. you really dont need a Type 81(unless you want to pretend that it is an AK which it is not) and many people complain about their proprietary magazines and their inaccuracy and crooked sights and bent barrels from the factory. Oh.. and lets not forget the price tag.. and to think I bought my SKS-D and SKS-M back in the 80's brand spanking new for $250 each (both still under a 500rd count today) and the Type 81 isnt even half the rifle that those SKS models are.. and they sell for $1200 or more! No thanks.. I stay with my SKS - there is a reason why the SKS is known as "Canada's rifle" and it is to many Canadians what the AR-15 is to Americans.. and while they could snap their fingers and put a rifle like the Type 81 on a Ban list by tomorrow.. the SKS is here to stay thanks in part to our Indigenous native populations all across Canada who have been using t SKS for wildlife control/hunting and food sustenance for many decades now.. it has been proven to be a useful and very capable hunting tool in the taking down of even large sized game in Canada.. entire communities rely on it's uses.. and that is why the SKS isnt going anywhere anytime soon - unlike the Type 81 who I personally have never seen anyone ever hunt with (not saying it isnt capable.. just saying Ive never seen it) Ironic.. how the SKS-D and SKS-M models are more closer related to the AK-47 than the Type 81 is.. yet the Type 81 could end up on a Ban list just because it "looks" like an AK and we all know just how much the Canadian Government HATES anything that "looks scary" ~ If they took away our CZ Vz-58's.. then the Type 81 somehow slipped thru the cracks.. it's the one they missed.. and it makes absolutely no sense that the CZ Vz-58 is gone.. but the Type 81 is still here. (personally I would take a Vz-58 over a Type 81 any say of the week)
Stupid question Mate, Does it overheat?? With the settings you have. With love from the country which uses a version of this as the standard military rifle.
Sks/svd is what comes to my mind. Nice collection sir. They would fetch a pretty penny here in the states. Peoplenwould trade all their AR15s for one of these lol
Only Punks who are addicted to video war games would want ones of these over the AR rifles. The number 1 rifles sold in America are the AR rifles not a garbage jama matic AK style heap of junk . What are these guns good for not much unless you are a crook or a Ghetto thug doing drive by shootings and small store hold ups and armed muggings?
I read that only the folder types had the issue. Then ppl said that they all had the issue but more frequently with the folders. Then it was said that it's about 1/2000 thst have an issue and the warranty replaces them if it's more than 3 degrees.
I hate the look and extra weight of the grenade launcher metal cylinder thing that's welded to the actual barrel, would be nice if they came like the one you said was the one submitted to the RCMP.
Are semi automatic rifles still legal in Canada ? sorry for the stupid questions but i heard there was some strict gun ban a few years back it sounded like almost all semi had been banned so lloks like that ight not be true then eh? how about that then eh?
The magazines featured in this video are pinned to 5 rounds per Canadian law. Mag capacity limits apply to most centerfire-semiautomatic rifles & shotguns, as well as handguns.
As the video description says: "Special thanks to the individuals who gave permission to have their rifles featured in this video". Most firearms featured on this channel are video recorded and returned to the owners.
@@TheRealBatCave I guess its all down to personal preference but I prefer the original military issue version with blued metal, one piece gas block/front sight, blonde wood, and medium profile barrel. These new M's are painted black, not blued, have a thick af barrel that throws off the weight distribution, that squared off front grip looks clunky, the muzzle thread protector looks like something youd find in a hardware store. The under folder mechanism looks cool but ergonomics wise the side folder wins hands down.
The channel is of course heavily monitored won’t allow much comment that isn’t fluffy. Too bad. Good to see Canadian firearms channel but I’m over anything from that other country. And can’t be bothered following anymore Good luck.
They're all trash and take litterally months to ship to you. Never again will I use this supplier. Good video though just the guns are trash and the dealer is even worse.
Nice mags, too bad they are pinned to 5 like any other rifle mag. :( I may be pessimistic but lwt's hope POLYSESOUVIENT won't see this video soon or they'y try to get these guns banned too. :/
Most semi auto rifles are on the latest ban list update including type81s & sks. Just did’nt pass yet. Let’s hope liberals can be out of office before they can do any more harm.
